Yeah, it is a safe programme. I have known lots of people who went there and came back happily.
I also registered under speedwing.

My trip was awesome. I went to new york, chicago, san diego, san francisco, Las vegas, grand canyon and niagara falls.  Anyway when choosing employer dont ever choose Cedar Point(CP) because they overhired people and you wont get enough working hours. I would say working is so-so because working experience is sucks but I managed to meet awesome colleagues. smile.gif
*
Grad you enjoyed it. Do they always overhire people?
Mind sharing your itinerary of your trip after u finish working?

You went alone or with friends?
I'm currently planning to go alone, so I'm not sure how am I going to travel after I finish working sad.gif

What make Alaska the best place? Is it because of the work hour ? or the tips ? I got a sample job list and the job details from OOTB, the pay and minimum hour  is almost the same as other employer, so this make me wondering  hmm.gif
*
I guess they tip higher in Alaska tongue.gif
The sample job list you got from OOTB, is it for summer 2014?
Mind sending it to me to have a look at it? biggrin.gif

Tips bigger? I'm under the impression that Alaska is a less developed place in US? The sample job list is for summer 2013. They just sent it to me so I roughly get an idea about what job the employers are offering. I'll pm u the link.
*
Got it, thanks smile.gif
I applied under Speedwing but so far they only sent me 3 job profiles.

Where are you planning to head to?

Those 3 I've received is Yellowstone, Sheraton Hotel Virginia and Santa Cruz California.

I'm thinking of going to Morey's Pier since its closer to the other tourist spots like NY, Niagara Falls, Liberty Island, Chicago etc.

But still planning though, wanna try to get jobs with tips >.<

I think I read from somewhere, Morey's Pier only operate during weekends on certain period. Not sure if going there can earn enough $$ to cover back the 10k. LOL. So I'm trying to a job with more working hours. Maybe it's still early, the work choices is not much yet.
*
Not sure bout that, have to wait till Speedwing provides me with further information.
Yeah I also plan on earning enough to cover back that 10k, that's why I've been trying to find a Waiter job smile.gif

Lets hope the work choices will increase soon  tongue.gif for now most of them are either team park workers or the house keeper.

How long do you plan working there?
*
Yeah, hope that there will be more server jobs tongue.gif
I plan on working for the full period from 15th May to 15th September, gotta earn as much as possible, else not enough to cover that 10k and my travelling expenses biggrin.gif

Travel for 1 month? I still deciding if I should cut short my travelling period. Don't know how many places can visit for 2 weeks.  Damn convo.
*
Yeah, most probably will be travelling for 1 month, but I can't think of many places to go to.
If I'm going to work at the East coast, I should be able to go to the cities during my off days.
And the only place I plan on visiting over at the West coast should only be Vegas and the Canyons lol.

Btw my convo is in July as well, but I deferred it to November for WAT tongue.gif

well guys, is there any WAT program to USA for non-students? I'm so interested with all these WAT but I've only see them applicable to full time students only.
*
So far there isn't any WAT programs for non-students, your best chance will be applying for an internship there smile.gif
