You need to have at least RM 50.00 in your prepaid credit in order to convert. smile.gif Last time I didn't have so just reloaded RM 50.00 and straight converted it. This applies to all new main lines or supplementary lines but if it is MNP then free of charge. smile.gif

QUOTE(-Y- @ Nov 1 2008, 08:44 PM)
MnP stands for mobile network portability. which means u can switch to other telco from ur current telco without change ur number. i think u know bout this. just to make u clear.

MNP stands for Mobile Number Portability. smile.gif

Yes, never deny that. If from rural areas better use other telcos.
Luckily I'm from not so rural areas. smile.gif
DiGi always comes out with innovative plans to capture its current and potential users. thumbup.gif

from my point of view, maxis and celcom just dont understand their users...they should offer what their users want, but not what they want from the users. Like for maxis, obviously what they what from thier user is their money; everybody in the business line also looking for money, we as a consumer knew that. but for maxis, they are too over the limit!! u got your point in the statement , celcom and maxis can over take DiGi at anytime they want by offer the cheapesst rate, but why are they never do that?? they are too money minded, if they lower their rate, will influence their profit. Everytime DiGi lower their rate, maxis and celcom will follow, but all the hidden term and condition, eg: 60sec charging blocks!! this is not the way to do business, u can cheat your customer in short term, but after awhile they will discovered your trick. that is why ppl just run away from maxis and never come bck.

But in other hand DiGi, before Tenelor enter our malaysian market 7 years ago, they already did a study on malaysian consumer NEED!! that is cheap and affordable!! (provided they got a very goood management team, even they got the lowest rate in town, yet their quarter to quarter profit and revenue are leader among the telco in malaysia)!! how can they achieved that?? they couldnt maxis and celcom do that?? that is y DiGi are the leader in the mobile industy on innovative although in term of market share they are the 3rd!!

like today i went to a roadshow in one utama to accompany my friend to switch from maxis to DiGi, they got a bonus point redemption counter where i redeemed a motorola bluetooth which worth rm180 with 2000 DiGi point, im very happy with it, coz i has been looking for a bluetooth headset but never border to spend money on it. how they knew i need it, coincident!! but this is all about reward and customer royalty, DiGi know how to satisfy their customers, that is y even when i encountered a place where no DiGi coverage, as a royal customer i dont mind give them a call to highlight their problem. if maxis know their customer well, they wont loss 3% of their customers in a month time ,due to MNP!!
