Jackygwh: hi man... long time no see! biggrin.gif how r u lately? yea got GTRs quite a while ago le... one from kch another one from hk de... cost around RM450 if not wrong... u mite wana visit Satok there to check them out... hopefully the cars are still there... nod.gif

Thanks a lot dude. By the way, do you know if the stores in the Bukit Bintang area are well stocked in 1:18 AA models? Wanna be sure before I make the trip to KL. I also saw that you actually order quite a few online. Don't they get taxed by customs?
*
ermm... im not from KL actually... well as far as i know, there is no specialized diecast stores in BB... perhaps u might wana head over to the nearest Berjaya Times Square since Kyosho shop is there... n oso a hobby shop named Graffiti Toys... enjoy ur trip to KL! wink.gif

the maisto GTR looks great... cant see the dots on the rear lights which usually other models do... should be a hot selling model once its released... 1/18 to come? biggrin.gif

cam5229: wow they do put lots of effort in there... note the car is in dirt condition eh... izit an expo or sth??? blink.gif

oyongming: hi welcome to the diecast thread! yea but perhaps there are many collectors here in malaysia, juz tat they didnt realize a thread here in LYN? sweat.gif but despite the numbers of collectors here are small, its a worthwhile to share some knowledge and experience and news with each other... juz share ur own too by uploading some pics and talk bout ur diecast experience! enjoy ur stay here! rclxms.gif

quiksilve: chrome effect is perfect... if u got this earlier, i wonder how kimi react when u bring this to the ferrari booth for kimi to sign on the car eh? laugh.gif

aBc!!: nice one! n welcome to the thread... hope u enjoy ur stay here... biggrin.gif

Foxngn: one Autoart GTR can cost around RM400 to RM450... smile.gif Kyosho price might be the same too... an affordable selection is from Maisto... i wonder how much the Jada Toys will cost... hmm.gif

oyongming: gosh Nikko is closing down means the end of aa diecast market in malaysia... hopefully kyosho can tahan... sad.gif

-vip3rleon9-: hihi welcome back! hows ur search for diecast anyway? got any new discovery? inside or outside malaysia? drool.gif

saru88: i wish aa will create the 1/18 of new evo... tongue.gif n oso the 2008 Impreza WRX WRC version... sweat.gif

my final acquisition while i was in kch... happy.gif aa claims that the seats are made by real leather, which makes this car one of the most expensive diecast models...

Jackygwh: hihi Jacky how r u these days? I got this from Satok... most of my diecasts are from there... the tauke there is friendly and helpful... seldom go Tun Jugah these days since their diecast stock are from the ice age... sweat.gif the price still ok to me as long as i able to get the model... but aa has raised the price these days so i understand the pricing condition that the tauke is offering me... smile.gif

quiksilve: haha thanks man! i dono how to take care of the leather seats... they don look as leather as aa claims when touching it... pretty hard type of leather... happy.gif kch means Kuching... that should solve ur doubt eh... sweat.gif

JtuneD, leroy87, AMG_soh: thanks guys for the compliments... to me, this is the best looking Merc ever produced to-date... every angle is juz simply awesome... biggrin.gif

mirage-rs: haha yea... this is our diecast passion... as long as we have the budget, the right time and the right opportunity... we will never miss that chance! tongue.gif

myke: thanks man! instead of feeling regret i feel satisfied with the purchase... been eyeing on this car quite a while le laugh.gif hey how r u these days?

here are some more shots of the CL63 AMG... biggrin.gif

kelvin5807: the best quality is no doubt CMC, BBR and MR... aa and kyosho n minichamps are also among the highest quality diecast makers... hotworks, sunstar n hotwheels elite do produce quite decent quality of diecast... welly costs too much especially those sold Toy City... the quality doesnt match the price at all... maisto n hotwheels are reasonable priced and its a great start for diecast beginners... do note tat the higher quality means for the higher price smile.gif

EuJax: BTS is berjaya times square... im not so clear which floor le... 4th maybe... take a look at the directory there... nod.gif

Jackygwh: haha ur enzo now in kch ma? do u miss it sometimes? i start to miss my diecast in kch... sweat.gif hopefully no bubbles on the models...

-vip3rleon9-: hahaha... y im bad eh??? i juz tell the fact mah... BBR and CMC is really good... but expensive... biggrin.gif

EuJax: ur welcome! well, i start collecting since 2006... n i couldnt stop it once started this hobby... part of it is tat i couldnt afford the real thing, so diecast models are enough to satisfy my need to own these cars... unfortunately im not into classic cars yet... so not sure bout the Miura availability here in Malaysia... but u may try Nikko shops as mentioned previously in the thread? besides Kyosho, u might wana eye alternative choice from Autoart? the quality is great but no black color offered from aa... nod.gif

myke: wow myke... so its the chance for u to have one!!! rclxm9.gif is tat white F430 urs??? pretty rare color there... rclxms.gif

kelvin5807: both kyosho/aa are very detail quality... juz the price is cheaper COMPARED TO BBR/CMC... but among all, kyosho/aa are considered expensive brands since they jacked up the price last year... however, Kyosho cars are weak in humidity... the cars can easily get bubbles if u don take care them well... nod.gif

quiksilve: yup... good luck in your savings to acquire a CMC/BBR... looking forward to tat... smile.gif

aimanrs2: welcome to the thread... enjoy ur stay here! and do share us ur collection n views on diecasts! thumbup.gif

saru88: i got!!! but not plan to sell yet... i tot last time Nikko Atria got... perhaps its sold out eh... hmm.gif

anyway, here are some final shots on this sexy Merc... happy.gif

QUOTE(myke @ Apr 22 2009, 12:03 AM)
EuJax: i almost commit to get the 250 GTO, manage to hold myself coz doesnt fit into my collection. no doubt tat classic models does look more realistic than modern car bcoz they expose more detailing works such as steel chrome parts, rims & etc..

need no intro of the last Skyline GT-R R34 Z-tune in 2005

aBc!!: great effort there... looks like the mustang does look nice in black... reminds me of the transformers police car... biggrin.gif

myke: haha perhaps u should post the GTR first then baru the F430... wrong strategy liao... laugh.gif looking forward for ur pics to come eh! thumbup.gif talking bout the R35, i wonder if Kyosho has production of the RHD version... i tot they only produce the LHD version, which is the US version of GTRs??? unsure.gif

Jackygwh: u both share the common diecast... both are ferraris, and both are BBRs... wow... drool.gif

ian90: i think tat should be Hotwheels in the normal version... i guess the model should much more reasonable priced compared to the Hotwheels Elite version... its still a nice model though... nod.gif

Jackygwh: well, for the BBR model i guess should be ok coz the material they use is top class... so shouldnt be easy to get bubbles i guess... but for the Kyosho M6, i fear it will coz to wat i know, Kyosho models are the weakest among diecast makers in battling humidity... hope u did store it in the box and avoid from any direct sunlight... blink.gif i kept all my diecasts in the box and store it in my wardrobe before i left kch... and place several hippo suckers inside... juz don wana see any body damages when i return later... sweat.gif

myke: wow... tats really sui lor! if got RHD then should be awesome! i have to agree with u tat the interior from Kyosho is much detail and sharp compared to aa GTRs... well, looking forward for it come to u soon eh... biggrin.gif

tossee: finally maisto GTR has landed in Malaysia... looks pretty decent for a reasonably priced diecast model... and it matches well with the R34! thumbup.gif wat maker is tat R34??? in 1/24 too??? blink.gif thanks for sharing and nice overall collection u got there... n u might wana clean the dust of the models from time to time eh...

REALCollector: haha kenak poison oredi le??? laugh.gif guess me and myke has great influence for diecast collectors here ah... LOL... do keep update us for collection eh... biggrin.gif i oso kenak ur race car poison liao... the 575 GTC is an example... perhaps aa's coming soon MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS DTM 2007 will be in my list too! drool.gif well, me in Aussie here have purchased 2 models le... still have no time for outdoor shots... recently kinda busy, perhaps needa wait for a couple of months like tat baru got free time to do proper shots... meanwhile, i will try to post some of my diecast shots taken in kch from time to time.. nod.gif

mirage-rs: they really fit well in the garage... nais showroom there! rclxms.gif

JtuneD: guess even Bburago gonna release their version of GTR, its gotta be a LHD eh... seldom see any models from Maisto n Bburago are RHD...

saru88: still looking ma? wat bout the Mugen Type R... spot any??? unsure.gif

akid: not planning to sell yet... however my evo7 bonnet start to have tiny bubbles! sad.gif

Jackygwh: if like tat then ok le... perhaps the next weakest diecast maker is minichamps... both my minichamps models suffer bubbles too... doh.gif im now in the land of koalas and kangaroos le... plan to cook kangaroo meat later... laugh.gif

JtuneD: hope this inspires u on ur collection! biggrin.gif

kelvin5807: sweet collection there! guess ur shelf needs more diecast fill up! tongue.gif

aimanrs2: looks very highly detail model there tat audi... but im more interested to the black one next to it... isit an A4??? pics pics pics! rclxm9.gif

aurion: great photo shoot there... hopefully those Ms are for further modification, not mati api... laugh.gif

REALCollector: haha abo cant find any... but kangaroo meat baru makan! hopefully can do some photoshoots in times to come... and great collection there starting with those race machines!!! i think the 1/43 has a very wide variety of choices in terms of brands and models... the SUPER GT collection can be completed for a season by collecting the 1/43 scale models... heard tat the 2008 F1 models are completed in 1/43 scale too... Hotwheels for the ferrari, while the rest go to Minichamps... thumbup.gif plan to get those ma? biggrin.gif great pics there... perhaps u might wanna plan for some outdoor shots then... nod.gif

ping325: welcome to the thread... 1/18 indicates 1 to 18 scale... meaning tat there are 18 smaller cars compare to one real sized car... while 1/43 means 43 smaller sized cars compare to one real sized car... so these 43 cars are much smaller compared to the 1/18 scale size car models... dono if my explanation is clear onot le... perhaps u might wana go here for some clearer guidance... smile.gif http://www.grandprixlegends.com/Info/Scale_Guide.html

the final part of my White Series Collection
