QUOTE(ck77 @ Dec 20 2008, 02:16 AM) Congrat on your new watch Yea, the thread was dead for around a month then it came back to life. The more, the merrier. By the way, where is TS? Seems like we are hijacking his thread Added on December 20, 2008, 1:31 pm QUOTE(plkvoon @ Dec 20 2008, 03:29 AM) Simple and nice. The dial looks very big but it's only 40mm? QUOTE(ck77 @ Dec 16 2008, 02:55 PM) Yes that's true, don't use quick change date between 9pm and 3am because the date changing machanism is engaging. You might broke the machanism if setting the dateĀ I was wondering about this. Do it mean we cannot change when 9pm to 3am because the day/date is suppose to change so it might break smtg internally? How bout 9am to 3pm? Is it ok to change because the day/date is not affected? This post has been edited by silverwave: Dec 21 2008, 03:23 PM |

QUOTE(ck77 @ Dec 19 2008, 11:11 AM) This is my Seiko Dvier SKX781 (a.k.a Seiko Monster) i hv seen this at KLCC, but can't find the black version![]() It may not consider a "luxury" watch, but IMHO, it is the big bang on the bucks! One on the most robust and chepeast diver. You can easily obtain in the market for around RM600++ Deatil reveiw is here and here SKX779 |

plkvoon , at one glance, I thought the Longines is 42-44mm
silverwave , yes you can change the date/day during 9am to 3am as the mechanism is not function during that time. Lurker , IMHO Mido is an entry level swiss watch brand. Do try is yourself see whether you like it. It is available in Watchshoppe. For the Seiko Monster, most of the watch dealer does carry it, is not a big problem to find one. With your budget, do check out Oris also. Good luck |

My dad has one and although he never really takes good care of it, it still shines out. i havent started using the longines yet... i had severely injured my right thumb... so it's difficult for me to put and take out the buckle.... so just waiting for my thumb to heal before wearing it.... lucky last week the conversion rate by the credit card(thai baht vs rm) is not as high as i expected lar... kekekeke...
well i do agree if a panerai is on my wrist, it will be sure covering my whole wrist... kekekkekee... but purchasing it still long way to go... now focusing on buying a house.. hope that next year will be a good time buying one lar..... |
