Simple and nice. The dial looks very big but it's only 40mm? Is your wrist small?

Yes that's true, don't use quick change date between 9pm and 3am because the date changing machanism is engaging. You might broke the machanism if setting the dateĀ   blink.gif (only apply to automatic watch)

*
I was wondering about this. Do it mean we cannot change when 9pm to 3am because the day/date is suppose to change so it might break smtg internally? How bout 9am to 3pm? Is it ok to change because the day/date is not affected?

This is my Seiko Dvier SKX781 (a.k.a Seiko Monster)

It may not consider a "luxury" watch, but IMHO, it is the big bang on the bucks! One on the most robust and chepeast diver. You can easily obtain in the market for around RM600++  rclxms.gif

Deatil reveiw is here and here

i hv seen this at KLCC, but can't find the black version

plkvoon , at one glance, I thought the Longines is 42-44mm tongue.gif The Panerai would cover your whole wrist. Just kidding brows.gif

silverwave , yes you can change the date/day during 9am to 3am as the mechanism is not function during that time.

Lurker , IMHO Mido is an entry level swiss watch brand. Do try is yourself see whether you like it. It is available in Watchshoppe.
For the Seiko Monster, most of the watch dealer does carry it, is not a big problem to find one.

All are good brands, but between Cyma and Tissot, I'll choose the latter. With your budget, do check out Oris also. Good luck rclxms.gif

Tissot is a good watch. My dad has one and although he never really takes good care of it, it still shines out. biggrin.gif

i havent started using the longines yet... i had severely injured my right thumb... so it's difficult for me to put and take out the buckle.... so just waiting for my thumb to heal before wearing it.... lucky last week the conversion rate by the credit card(thai baht vs rm) is not as high as i expected lar... kekekeke...

well i do agree if a panerai is on my wrist, it will be sure covering my whole wrist... kekekkekee... but purchasing it still long way to go... now focusing on buying a house.. hope that next year will be a good time buying one lar.....
