HI all luxury watch owner, i'm planning to get a Tag Heuer. I want to know more about how u guys take care of the watch and how safe is it to wear expensive watches for daily use?

Btw, anyone can tell me the best discount rate i can get for Tag Heuer and the location? 18% seems to be standard but some shops are willing to give 20%.

I see. Actually i plan to get my Tag Heuer in Wata Time, Subang parade since the lady said she will surely give me a good deal. I asked her how good, she said, when i'm buying she will tell. I also told her i found a shop in Pyramid giving me 20% discount. Tag Heuer is giving a free gift for all models except Carrera, i saw this in Wata time Sunway pyramid. I hope Subang parade has that offer too. I should get the watch by next week, so must bargain nicely

I want to ask all the watch sifu's about the day or date function in the watch. When exactly does it change to the next day or date? At sharp 12am or may be around 1155pm?

how to do that? i think mine changed somewhere between 1157 pm

Ya, i know first click will change the date. What u mean is for example, it's 1157 pm, so if the date changed, change back. Keep doing it until it's 12am. Am i right?

haha, this is 12 hours difference. Mine was like 3-4 minutes before 12 it changed. Do same method?

Btw, when i bought the watch yesterday, the sales person advised me not to change the date/day when the clock is in 9 to 3. She said long term can affect the accuracy of the watch.

It doesn't matter for me. This is pretty common for automatic watch. Just make sure don't change the date/day during 9pm - 3am.

ok, i went to the shop and asked her, she said should change after 12 only. Since the technician is on holiday, so i have to bring it later. She said they will use computer and test, then they will make necessary adjustments.

Btw, i just noticed 3 tiny marks on the bezel and one tiny mark on the glass. All seem to be in one line. It only can be seen at certain angles under reflection. Can anything be done about it? Polishing by the shop? I feel so bad suddenly but i don't remember the watch hitting any surfaces.

Hehe, it's black but it looks like blue in room condition. The was another colour which was white but it's so boring, might be suitable for the older generation.

Gold for this model is nearly 3k more

Yea, i saw one in Sunway Pyramid. The glow was awesome. How much did u get it for? The minimum for Ball is around Rm5k now.

If u put a famous face on anything, it becomes pricey

Oops, what i meant was tiger woods link. I thought that pic was link because the new model of tiger woods link looks quite similar.
