I think cylinder type lagi menonjol because it is tall.

Between cylinder and box, I prefer box.

True. Of course the SPL is sealed so the box is much smaller.

All depends on individual taste mah. Like that fellow in SG who has 7 subs in his room in his HDB flat!!

Although it is troublesome to move the sub, if you want a more proper comparison then best to keep the equipment and room the same. The less variables the better

Maybe cannot fight with the big SVS, but see lah how it compares to the PB10-NSD. Same 10" class.

Oh yeah, now I recall you prefer 10R.

So when is this 10" vs 12" gonna take place? Interesting to see how much diff there is in those 2".

If got more kaki join in with other subs then can have nice sub shootout like they did on AVS. Too bad I'm not in Klang Valley otherwise I'd bring 12Q along.

I heard that the veneered cabinets are from China. The basic black is from USA.

Ah yes, belongs to forummer MKtheater over at AVS. Apparently he can hit some insane dB levels with that setup.

At one point you mentioned the MFW-15. Did you know they are having a sale now? $899 for TWO of them!! Killer bargain.

Dang, that SVS is so much bigger than your main speakers!

I think lately a lot of people have been poisoned by bass and spending a disproportionate amount on a sub compared to the rest of the speakers Which brings me to the question: what % should you spend on the sub compared to the rest of the speakers? No confirmation yet (at least he hasn't himself said anything), but I'm hoping it's him.

Yeah, the SGD so much stronger than RM. Imagine if our RM is strong like that, we would all have elite setup already!

Added on July 24, 2009, 9:13 pmUS have home ground advantage. Currency is 1:1, no import duties or taxes, much cheaper shipping (or in some cases free shipping). If we were all in US, then will have super-elite setup
