You mean those UVB bulbs for Vitamin D3 ?? YA but result may differ !! Sun is still best !!

So without using the bulbs, what is the best duration to keep them under sunlight?

As fungus spores might be present !!

Treat your substrate first before use no matter the brand you might eventually choose !!

Depends on how you use them you might need to change the substrate often !!

Yes its true but that depends on individual specimen too as some might get RNS even with the proper environment ie humidity and etc what else outdoor tongue.gif

I said that because last time one of my st keep on having RNS even with the proper setup, others are doing fine without the RNS. Even with RNS the st still eat and pee/poo like there's nobody business LOL
Its okay, just ask what u want and everyone here will help you.

wow...V4 alrdy....congrats.....i m trying to read all previous posts but still cant catch up tongue.gif

my ST also seems to have RNS all the time...as suggested by u all previously, i brought it to vet...it seems ok after taking medicine but after some time RNS back again... anyway, it is very active n eat a lot all the time... the other ST staying in the same enclosure is normal, no RNS... so, should i worry?? more medicine?? icon_question.gif

Just checked mid valley yesterday, damn disappointed... firstly, the shop is now 1 floor only from its previous 2 floor.
second, damn crowded. Third, no TTT whatsoever..... not even RES.

people usually give opuntia (prickly pear), which has less spines than other cactus.

got many species in the market.
