hi...

Just suffer a problem, hope all the sifu's here can help.

I just flashed my rom to wm6.5 and is running ok for the whole day.

Even able to play some songs before i went to sleep. But after i went to sleep, the pda auto-shutdown and couldn't be turned on again.

Read some other forum saying it's the problem with the battery but how true is it?

I have a bad habit of charging my phone when i'm sleeping.

Anyone suffered the same problem? Previously it's just auto-shutdown, pull out battery, put back in, then start. It don't seem to work this time, it won't even start.

Hi again... if there's anyone here...

I ask my sister to help me take it to some shops and have a look...

She came back yesterday and told me that the shop people said the IC chip is spoil.

Is there such thing? I google up 'IC chip atom' and most of the results are related to charger... is that shop trying to con me?

I guess you are right. I tried searching on the net but there's nothing much about it. Thanks anyway.

it says to do the flashing the mmc capacity should not exceed 2gb. That means is 2gb in the count, coz im using a 2gb card and planning to do my flashing but still confuse whether 2gb is included or not?

1)from ahnien's post the no3 update by TrahMin wm6.1, is that ok, coz i just want to use it as my organizer and not really fancy about it the graphic.

2) the PIM backup should be installed in the mmc card itself or in the device memory?

3) Is it possible to remove the sim card before flashing? Coz takut the felllow later erase everything including the content in sim card then im wantan edi liao.. tongue.gif

4)Is it possible synchronize using active sync 4.5, coz i remember once i hard reset then the contacts all gone but then when i plug in back to me pc than later the active sync auto copy/sync from pc to pda.

5)By flashing is it the existing content in the mmc will be lost too?

Thanks to everyone notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

hope my answer will help....

1) i myself not sure flashing from mmc... i've been doing it using cable.
2) just transfer the pimbackup to ur mmc. u can run the program from there.
3) based on my experience, flashing didn't erase any contact in the sim card.
4) there is an option in active sync to sync ur pda and pc pim. so u where lucky that active sync kept a copy coz if not mistaken at default setting it won't sync pim data...
5) its always advice to remove any data in the mmc before u do any flashing... even using cable, i will always keep a copy of everything in the mmc...

try a hard reset...
see if it solves the problem...
if it doesnt, flash in a new rom...

then if it still doesnt solve the problem....
then its a hardware problem.

but to clarify your problem.... you cant turn it on or??
