on heat? = HORNY

how to reduce? = SPAY / NEUTER

when they are horny, they will intend to escape to find sex. even willing to jump from high building just for sex.

I have checked both ingredient, seem kitten's pack more advantage than adult's pack.
If such the case, can i feed my adult cat for the kitten's pack?

So currently refuse to use which pack... rclxub.gif

Ok Blackwood. Blackwood is a premium cat food.

kitten food = a food that is design for kitten growth. kitten should eat kitten food for growing in good shape. that is why the guaranteed analysis is higher than adult food.

adult food = after 12 months / 1 year, your kitten is now a CAT. they do not need to grow like a kitten. they do not need to grow as big as dog eheheh. at this age, all that matters is activity and health. no more growing big.

yes u can feed your adult cat with kitten food. nobody can stop you smile.gif but remember, too much of :

- FAT and PROTEIN = OVERWEIGHT

- OVERWEIGHT = SICKNESS BAD HEALTH

- KITTEN FOOD = MORE $$$ brows.gif

---

but then if your cat want to eat blackwood, then just continue smile.gif i found out so many cats do not want blackwood, include me... i use to buy 12kg direct from the supplier, but too bad, only for 1 months because my cats do not fancy it that much.

Hi elf,
yes agree out there not much cats like Blackwood.
But so far my cat still like to eat. So would not change others brands at this moment.
If u remember me i had told u my cat previously was taken RC, then i change it to Blackwood till now. smile.gif
Actually recently most of the pet shop out of stock for Blackwood adult cat food.
I was thinking whether wanna change back to RC. Because like u say, feed kitten food to adult cat is not good for their health. I was concern this issue. hmm.gif
But another issue is worry me that RC might cause the "cake" very smelly. My housemate sure will scold me sweat.gif
so now very confuse... doh.gif

yea. but what i saw those pet shop selling blackwood, they only left kitten pack (small, medium & big pack).
and only left adult (small) pack.
Erm, actually pet safari also selling big kg pack for all the cat food brand.
Just dun have the one i want.. blush.gif

Actually izit good always to change the cat food?
i read and heard that is not good for the cat. If the cat food not cause any issue to the cat, better stick to the one.
I just thinking if i still can't get the blackwood adult, then might have to change to others brand liao..

depends...

you can change, but remember to put it 50% (old food) -50% (new food) for first few days... unless your cat get used with 2 different product - u can change it immediately.

but then its better stick to what he/she likes. unless the cat do not like it anymore, then have no choice, have to change tongue.gif

i used to feed proformance for like 1 year already. but the shop i get my supplied stop taking this brand. so i change to science plan. which i think easy to get next time, most petshop selling RC, Iams, SP. i don't really fancy changing food. because by changing food, you don't know which food is the best for your cat. so stick to one, then u can see the different.

I used furminator on my rabbits and my DSH cats. It is the best tool i use so far. If u have a fren who has this tool, borrow it and try. I give it 9/10  thumbup.gif but it is expensive sikit..
*
Thanks a lot buddy.. smile.gif I've already contact the seller and he told me that out there got similar product like 'Furminator' with only half price compare to original 'Furminator'. But i'm not sure that 'similar product' will work same like original 'Furminator'. He also told me that 'Furminator also can remove the oil from cats skin. If what he said are truth(positive efect), then i should give him a credit and maybe i would promote to my friends & pet shop. smile.gif

yeap ilium Dermocil is a good medicated shampoo to eliminate fungal dan skin infection.

i used ilium brand for ear mites and ear cleaning.

NutriEdge is something like blackwood... in other word it is one of the premium food. saw it before, but have not try yet.

if possible do it during the day time - during hot temperature. u can still do it at night, with warm water and need to dry them before they get cough and flu.

yes u can use the medicated shampoo to was the body too... but put more on the infected skin (tail)... leave it for 10-15 minutes with that shampoo before you rinse him.

have a good bath ehehe thumbup.gif

yea it takes time for them to be get along to each other. some may not get along.

all you need to do, don't force them. let it be naturally. force = stress. when they are stress other things occur.

don't come in between them if they are trying to get along. let them meet naturally. only come if you see them fight like crazy (which means bite and blood) ehehe. gosh i make that sound scary tongue.gif

anyway, that's the nature of cats. buat muka pura pura tak tahu saja... unless the big fight lah then you need to come and break the fight.
