QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Apr 11 2010, 06:18 PM) I've Tuniq TX-2 and thinking to apply it by myself, and paying RM123 for applying other good thermal paste is kinda ripped off. you take out and put it back also nobody know la, inside there dont have those sticker that will easily snapped which means no warranty void.SonicSpyro so u confirm that it'll not voided the warranty if I reapply the thermal paste by myself? Is it easy to do it at Sager lappy? |

QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Apr 11 2010, 08:03 PM) Thz for the reply bros. Anyway is it hard to apply the thermal paste on Sager lappy MB? Saw the picture but no clue where to apply since I don't own any Sager lappy b4. i've never apply to before because i dont know how to take out the heatsink, seems like stuck there already basically is open up the bottom cover and you will see the heatsink, unscrew all the screw that secure the heatsink then take out the heatsink and apply, should be as easy as that. |

QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ Apr 14 2010, 05:18 PM) Question is, can you stick it into your laptop? I'm not saying that it'll be free but it'll be <RM 1k. RM100 is <1k i dont think can fit to my laptop also since np8662 doesn't have a choice to choose which gpu when order actually i dont even know what type of mxm did my laptop run on |

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Apr 16 2010, 07:26 AM) how long had you use your GTX280M ? m15x cant? i thought it got choice for GTX260m or GTX280m?hm depend on the type of laptop. sadly Alienware M15x mobo can't support GTX280M. if not, your GPU is like pisang goreng panas already i dont know my np8662 can support or not, but still $600 is too expensive for me |

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Apr 16 2010, 07:46 AM) nope. its between GT240M and GTX260M. its have something related to mobo where it cannot read GTX280M. all np8662 is running on GTX260Myour np8662 currently using what model of GPU? USD600 is really expensive, considering new model such as HD5870 is just near that price. |

for my laptop, it is not audible, unless you are in very silent environment, this is just normal/idle usage
during gaming, the fan noise is audible as it run full speed in silence mode/stealth mode or whatever you call it, the fan is like totally off |

QUOTE(faiz2036 @ Apr 30 2010, 10:41 PM) that the latest one that i see have driver problem for their nvidia card... i have seen this trouble before gt320m.. you think is the notebook manufacturer problem? from what i think is the GPU manufacturer problem, since the notebook manufacturer just buy the GPU from nvidia/ati and install it on the laptop, so the laptop is still running on nvidia/ati gpu and the gpu will still be using nvidia/ati driver everytime new gpu released, for sure there is no optimized driver for it for few weeks, it seems like this problem is already there for few generations of gpu. |

QUOTE(corad @ May 6 2010, 02:16 AM) if Eurocom are already taking pre-orders i'll say its a 1 month wait maximum clevo wait for the food to reach their mouth instead of going out and hunt for food like other brand not too sure about alienware though, since clevo isn't a well known brand, i doubt they'll "feel the competition" . QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ May 7 2010, 10:42 AM) Thanks man. The box will be sent back next week. IC7's temp... quite ok la. So far the highest I've got for GPU is 90 after trying out BFBC2 at max settings but without AA. CPU... broke to low 70's in the games and benchmarks. 90c is quite high My fans are quite quiet. I'm surprised. Didn't sound like yours tho. @_@ Thanks! |
