Anybody heard about this phone before? LG KS360, I just saw it in The Sun newspaper today. Selling for RM699. The price is quite interesting, though it doesn't has 3G but it will be nice for a text messaging lover, besides it has iPhone like messaging system which create message thread into speech bubbles, making it like chatting on IM.

Yup.. now im also using qwerty on screen keyboard in an iphone..

Yup.. it depends on what is ur usage on a phone.

yea after u too depend on T9 u will get degrade your english because u depend too much on computer.
I can even type without even looking on my n95 8GB but when i do surfing and replying my email its very tiring. Certain words are unavailable for T9 then u need use manual key to type it example the letter O u need press key 6 three times to get a O. With a QWERTY i get the O instantly. it is is indeed touch screen dialing. however it is touch screen for dialing ONLY. either den dat u still need to use the keypad like any other standard phone. for example, clicking on icons in the menu, there are no touch screens. therefore, u only get the fun of touch screen by dialing numbers. either den dat u wont get the fun of it.

i already saw this phone at summit usj.. its really rm699.. but i guess the offer is only till this weekend.. after that the price.. will be rm799 only.. i was planing on getting this phone.. for leisure usage.. i had my self samsung i450 with 3g and stufff..somehow still i just use the phone for calls,texting and play some puzzle game..
 this lg is really cool..i rate it 8/10 |

I think for sure it's cheap for qwerty phone. although the touch screen only functioning during dialing, but i think it's worth dooo.. I still give me 5 stars for it, I have tested it and seems ok and real funky la..RM699, it's a piece of mind la buying with authorised dealer, got full set some more. but I have to say I'm not buying it because I can't sms while driving

Bought it at KLCC for RM699. No discount what so ever. The phone comes with a screen protector. No pouch. Overall very nice phone. I like the touchscreen dialing and the FM. The LCD screen is clear and bright. The qwerty keyboard is nice.
To me I think this is value for money phone. Samsung F480 is almost double the price for a touchscreen not to mention the IPOD. |

went to lowyat today..most of the shops are selling for RM699 with nothing other than usb cable and charger and no memory card..but ther was this LG outlet selling for RM650 with 1GB card..wahnted to buy black but only had pink so i didn't get it lol

I bought it at Mines RM699 and i add another rm 10 for 1GB memory card. The best part they took my years old N70 for rm380
that is real bargain... anyhow, i really need the pc suite, they didnt give me any CD...someone...please help me la....please...i need to sync it with my pc...(i couldnt find it on the internet) |

Anyway, as over view...this phone hast all the basic stuff u need but really dont expect anything extra...if u had PDA phone / Smart phone or even the normal nokia phone before, there might be some part of this phone that might let u down, however, considering the price and some of cool function i.e. the qwerty thiggy....this phone is just ok plus , if u r those who depends ur life on ur phone, this may not suite u, especially if u need your phone for your work the way u depend on PDA/Smart phone... cheerios |

as for today> since 4.40am till 3.18pm, i had: a) received@made few short calls (3minutes call): 7calls so far b) text msging: 70sms'es c) listen to one song and battery bar still 3/3. not sure wther LG has any battery-percentage-used as in sony erricson's phone does though.. by the way-sad enough to say, i think i can text faster using my old nokia candy bar phone. maybe its just me with my big thumb that caused the problem, but i do need to get acquainted with the keypad first :'( |

In Greentown Mall, well .. the phone is very good compare to those with RM600 price tag .. Worth every penny, and the slide mechanism is very solid .. no wobbling feel to it .. The rotation UI also quite ok .. not sluggish and delay .. 8/10 from my pov .. |

i jalan2 mines last week, found this phone, played with it, and i think the UI is much like any other LG phone (my bro owns a LG).
The only new feature i like about this is the qwerty and the touch-dialing. But the only thing that can be used in the touchscreen is the dialing part. Bummers. At RM680, i think, for me personally, it is not worth it. Bought 7210 Supernova instead. haha. just rm510. |

I've bought this sucker 3 weeks ago for RM799 at Mines (i know, but with Zitron and 2G external, i don't give a shit)
So here's my low down: Good - Healthy 2.4 screen - Firm and sturdy slide - Full QWERTY, easy sms (takes time to use) - Touch screen (yay!) - 2Mpix cam (better then my ol' Pantech) - Fast BluTut 2.0 - Good MP3 playback - Freakin loud external speaker (good alarm) - Can put animated gif as wallpaper - Small and cute! - Dropped it twice and survive! - Good battery life Bad - Wish it was 2.8 and above - Small QWERTY button - Partial touch screen for dialing and name searching (why not go all the way, at least a touchscreen game) - cam are so-so with no flash (a bit grainy) - The damn BluTut cannot transfer directly to external memory - Small internal memory (just 15Mb) - Small web view and not true HTML (i hate mobile version) - No album art - Sound from the speaker tend to crack from max abuse (wish they put speaker on the sides) - No normal jack, only LG propriety headphone jack, that LG jerk! - Gif wallpaper only for the once created in the phone, not download (always complain about the size too large) - Video playback is crap! MPEG4 my ass (only for the worst compressed vid can play) - Slow I/O from the external memory port (go crazy sometime when connected to my PC) - Too small i've dropped it twice - Delay reaction too often (usually when call searching) - Freaky LG pre-installed games Conclusion! I always wanted to try LG, touchscreen and QWERTY combo type phone. KS360 with me has a love/hate relationship. Reliable for texting, hate it for the lacking of the mentioned above. But, with RM799 you can buy a better phone then this. Advice Buy at your own risk! Well, actually don't buy it unless you prefer to own a poor man's Sidekick. For anyone who wanted the phone less then RM600, have to wait for few weeks. I think the price will go down next year so as the other LG phones (before Raya Viewty=RM2600, last week Viewty=RM1600)

i was having the same 'day time' hallucination also last time, bad enough it occurred 1 day before my exam days.wanted the green colour so badly, and crappy enough they dont have it though...
but i chose blue nevertheless.. so far, i like the colour,but somehow, i think i kinda prefer my fren's red colour ks360.try to consider that aswell |

nah. i got some other stuff to do..
by the way, anybody got frustrated with the text msging already...? sometime i wish to knock myself hard because of how laggy this phone can be. this is especially true whenever i was busy typing a lengthy msg, and theres another msg coming in~i will always end up getting my composed msg to be saved into a draft folder! argh, how i hate to go to a draft folder again from a scratch-cause it takes an extra time!! p/s:dont ever got influenced with this complaint (because it maybe just me) since im a very heavy msg user with an average of 100sms'es per day... |

as for one hand texting, im not so sure about that, the possibility is there though..i just need to get really acquainted with the keyboard first i bet!!! |

i would say it does.
but if u used to type using a normal keypad with t9, it would make ur life a bit miserable though. but i believe, slowly the feeling will dissipitate on its own |

users if ks360,i need some helpr rectifying problem. my gf's set when calling someone there is no dial tone, dont have like "du du,du du" ... complete silence and then suddenly the person straight answer, anybody having problem like mine? thank you.

btw, doesnt it means that the receiver picked up the phone soon enough to allow the beeping sound to set of? i had the similar exp with my nokia phone before though..probably its a network dependent i bet? |

Hi, i bought this phone last tuesday and twice already, my battery dies in less than one day.
Have not been using the phone a lot at all. Took 5 pictures so far and made a few calls and sent a few sms-es. The battery seems to last less than 24 hours, do you guys think there's a problem there? Should I send it back? |

probably u want to leave your wallpaper blank (especially by not putting the flashed wallpaper_it can really drained ur battery for all u know)...
summore, u better opt for the power saving mode.i switched it on for "days and night" option, and so far my battery life lasted for 2 days or so (with a HUGE battery consumption on text msging only though). good luck! |

if u do think so that the phone is faulty, i dont think there will a problem if u wanna check it out with the LG authorities.
do post it out here aswell as soon as u got the problem settle (if there is any )...btw, my phone battery now seems to be better...since morning up till now the battery still 2 bars..it used to be drained out of the very last power supply by now, usually. |

why is it that when the battery is low, we cant sms? i thought calling uses more battery?
when i take a video, the sound and the picture not in sync wan. the picture moves first then only sound. |

oh ya...when battery low..and u press the SMS icon..it will tell you " BAttery low", apparently it needs a lot of power to show the threaded sms..hahahahah

I stumbled on this thread yesterday and got to know about this phone for the first time. I felt so compelled to get one too! I went out today hoping to buy it but they only had the black unit. So I ended up not getting it.
Anymore feedback from current users? Pls share share. Also can I request for pictures taken with this phone's camera? Wanna see the quality. |

frankly, its kindda smooth.. IF you switch of the effect sound.. but even if you have the effect sound enabled, its not that lag. not compare with the previous LG model i had. battery life wise, i need at least 3 days to test it. for overall.. quite impress with it, except that qwerty needs abit of time to get used to..

I'm one of this phone owner.
Just one question... As what I know is this phone support until 4Gb external memory card... but is it micro sdhc or normal one as long I knew is 4Gb and above is sdhc type....but from the box did'nt mention support sdhc.. Am I so noob here..hehehe Any model / brand is recommended will compatible with this model on 4Gb size.. Thanks.. |

lol. when it is 4GB... IT IS MicroSDHC.. the only differences is Class 4 and class 6. the cheaper one is Class 4 which cost less than RM50. any brand will do. if u are not convinced, try out in the store.

i just bought this hp at s.alam..
when i view my contacts, it shows contact from sim card and contact from phone memory..how to set so that it only shows contact from phone memory er? now, it shows 1 person with 2 number which is from sim card and phone memory. last one, do we need to fill in the limited warranty card in KS360 hand book? the black one.. or no need? i got the zitron warranty card already.. |

I just see this phone at The Mines at LG phone shops (near bowling center). The shops want to selling it to me at RM980 with 4GB memory card. I think its to expensive. What u all think? Add more RM281 (phone price is RM699) for 4GB memory card? Um...

im an EX user of this phone i got rid of it when i got tired with da keyboard . to me the keys are a lil too hard to press. and kinda small. maybe im just not used to it. but the screen seriously is GREAT. colours are wonderful. and i noticed da equalizer actually makes a difference when it is played via external speakers unlike normal phones where u can only hear the diff via earphones. frankly speaking, i was just let down by the keypad and da lag when music is played at BG dats why i sold it. anyway, just my 2 cents . hope no one bombs me here. |

Just go to the garage sales section and search for the price of the memory card. Yes computer shop memory card is the same, can be used in phone also.

I gives thumbs up for its screen, speaker and keyboard(for mid range category).. battery life is actually not really up to my liking. i squeeze its battery life until 2 days for only sms and calling.,picture taking also not more than 10 photos, bluetooth transfer 3 pics and brightness down to 6. i hope i can get more than 2 days, let say 3.5 days and i will be satisfy with it. oh yeah, the built is good for midrange phone. better than nokia/se.. so far i cant bring out any real bad cons, but the camera is abit too basic. although it takes decent picture still. and the browser is not really nice; i downloaded opera mini and it does better job. games.. not really into it. but LG shud put more themes instead of Black and white themes. and bluetooth cant receive more than 500kb from my pc, stating that the phone is low in memory. but from other phone, i send a pic around 600kb and it went thru. i wonder if its the pc bluetooth is the culprit. and the connectivity, i wud be happy if LG wud just give wifi or 3g, either one. leaving it out makes the phone abit useless since it sport qwerty keyboard yet cant do much web browsing/online chatting. Anyway, in conclusion, for this mid range RM699 phone with qwerty.. i would just be satisfy with it IF i dont need 3g or wifi. if not, i think its best u get 2nd hand PDA with keyboard eg 838pro (2nd hand value RM700-850).. i have this phone in pink.bought it rm650 w/ 1gb memory card.
overall the phone is ok. but i can't use my own message tone. T.T coz it's would stuck and i have to take off the battery and on it again. tskk.. it's also can't read my songs in my micro sd card. T.T probably because i use my old micro sd card that i got when i bought my old 5700 xpressmusic.. oh well..im not surprised. this phone is cheap..so dont expect it to have nice features like samsung omnia or anything that cost more than rm1000 just because it has qwerty keypad. sometimes when i delete my messages it would lag. but everytime it creates stupid problem i would send email to LG.lol~~ |

yeah..so far i also like this hp..
but there is no function for cut and paste like i stated as above ( read my previous post ) .. and the bad side is, we CANNOT move multiple image from phone memory to mmc .. u need to move it one by one.. and if u create a new folder on ur mmc, then u also can't move multiple image into that folder.. also need to move it one by one.. "mark" function is not so helpful in this case. am i correct guys? so sad lol .. or anyone know how to move it by mutilply? thanx p/s : the solution is , u can move muiltiple image using ur pc..plug in ur usb cable and done. haizz |

yes u only can zoom with small resolution ( standard camera 2.0 resolution ). LG KS 360 provide u with maximum resolution 1280 x 960! ( nice picture and nice quality). U can choose ur resolution.

The only thing that keep me from buying this phone is that it cannot do much. from what i see on this phone is that it got qwerty keyboard which is great for messaging. As much as i love the phone but a lot of feature missed on this phone. i got this phone at RM640 ( 1gb mmc ). Of coz zitron. And i think with touch screen function ( u also can use for contact searching ) . It's worth it.
Can't expect so much for this price. The color and the picture is so great. So stylish and the threaded view is soooo nice. My rate : 7/10. Minus the "cut and paste and mark function" p/s : it's small and it's kinda ok lah. Not too small. |

it lags sometimes. around 1 sec, but i can live with it. the processor isnt the fastest since it is made for budget market.
multitasking, i didnt really try. but i did experience once that i was websurfing and a sms came in. i can reply it and then it will resume my opera mini. keyboard is smaller than those PDA qwerty but definitely better than i600,i780,MotoQ9h or so.. coz reading from all of your posts.. it seems like my phone have some problems. such as..i can't use my own message tone coz the phone will stuck and i have to take the battery off.it's also stuck when i delete my messages.my battery also dont last long.like,last night i put it in the charger all night and now it says 'low battery'. Im considering this phone, might wanna bug my dad to get me a new phone since my K610i got stolen a few months back. Anyways, I've got some questions to ask regarding this phone. 1) Can we download .jar games? I can't live without downloadable games. 2) Themes can be downloaded? 3) Are all the colours available here, or only selected ones? im not an owner of ks360 (yet).
but i think i can answer some of your question. 1. yes it support java. so any application/games that end with .jar it can install. 2. yes it can IF you can find any theme for ks360, as far as i search, no theme yet (or never) for ks360. 3. as for the green colour, i dont think it is available here, silver yes. 4. only the owner of the phone can answer this. 5. if by auto focus then no, it is fixed focus only. any true owner of ks360 have anything to change or add? |

I think my phone having
some problem... after we finish typing sms and closed the keyboard at the same time the msg sms sended appear my phone will automaticly shut off... it happen randomly... anybody here facing problem like me...? |

erm.. not a problem to me actually as you can click on the d-pad to show the light back again. if not you can change the backlight timer to 20sec.
and the reset code? 12345? the manual shud have the reset code. |

the qwerty keypad is actually smaller from what i thought..but still click-able.lol my thumbs are not that big. so far so good..take a while to get used to(as everyone said) oh yeah, i like that it's same with SE,(dunno bout nokia) can record someone's voice and use it as ringtone. i.e. when X called, X's pic would appear,and X'S voice as the ringtone. i record my sis's voice,with her saying 'pick up the phone sis!!' lol.just having fun. xD |

hey does anyone know what the video format? i downloaded this one video clip in avi.
the features stated MPEG4 / H.263 video playback. so i convert it to mp4 but can't play. can only hear the sound, no video. help?? |

got myself a black n silver 1.. liked it very much.. mp3 can b set a msg tone... full charge can last me for 3 days wit bluetooth on for bluetooth headset wit numbers of call per day.... but cant hear songs through bluetooth headset.. any setting nid to b done?? any 1 noe where to buy screen protector for it?? coz i accidentally peeled mine... haha... so far, no cons... accept if its more responsive, its better.. hehe.. bought it at rm630 and got myself a 4gb sandisk micro sd at pc fair running it on my phone now... so far so good.. no lagging.. |

OMG OMG, i've bought this phone at Warta, Bangi for RM680. I bought the balck+red cover. I knw it is a bit expensive but itu pun harga after tawar daripada the phone fixed priced, RM699. Aiyo. I trade in my old phone Sony Ericsson W660i for RM200. Plus 1gig kena tambah RM50.

i jz bought my ks360 yesterday. N i realise tat wen it starts up it takes quite a long time 2 start up. N wen it starts up, the LG logo will lag abit. I juz wana know is it normal among all ks 360 phones? or its onli mine? everythin ting else its fine. hope u guys can give me feedbacks

i sent it at 10/12. T.T that is a loooooooong time.tskk~~ even after that long,when i got my phone back.it's still have problem. then i went back to the shop.so the shop owner give me new set.but in blue+grey color. T_____T so bye2 pink phone. but still,i can't use my own message tone.or else it will lag. is it just this phone or every ks360 phone has this problem? is there anyone that use their own message tone?and how much is the file size? i would like to put the message tone that i want to use here and ask you people to try it on your phone.but i don't know if it's okay to put download link in this forum.i don't wanna to get ban. KS360 memang support wma, but if i am not mistaken only for calling ringtone. but i never tried wma sms ringtone b4. dont even know about it until u said. toughnut: lame as it seem but for that price, i couldnt critic too much and i take it as a bonus for touch dialing. besides, the touch dialing is using captative screen, like iphone .. e.g, fingernail cannot use for touch dialing, must use thumb.jackpro: i doubt there is a phone in this world that doesnt have any problem. not even 3310 or vertu. when ur luck ran out, you will ended up with phone with problems. dont just because of a problem posted by a member, then u take it as a conclusion that ALL KS360 HAVE PROBLEM! besides, you need to use SMARTPHONE instead of KS360. u only attracted to this phone bcoz of the cheap price. but sad to say, this phone cant offer any of what you said; why5, msn, browser like internet or wateva. go and get a PDA phone with QWERTY and satisfy urself. |

Hey, I'm currently using a SE phone which allows 1 name to store up to 4 numbers. So if I buy this phone then it'll be 2 names with 2 different phone numbers right? I hope that makes sense...

sorry for butting in ya.. i just got this phone today.. and trying to sync it to PC is killing me.. I tried the software you guys posted up.. It doesnt work. I tried the LG official pc suite.. it doesnt work also.. any one got any other choices?? i tried searching the web.. apparently i cannot find anything because the phone is cacat.. or i just dont know how to search.. help? =) Thanks.

I found my solution to connect the LG KS360 to PC via usb cable w/ PC Sync.
OMG LORR.. Find die me. Basically, the net doesnt give you a step by step way to install and use it sync-ing to the pc. Or im just too blur to find it. This step by step tutorial is just for this LG KS360, well my experience with it so you guys can skip the searching high and low for drivers etc etc.. Step 1: http://my.lgmobile.com/web/web.product.manualSoftwareRF.laf Step 2: Under Manual & Software Download section, click on the little box that says "Go to Manual & S/W Download Section", A window will pop up and will ask you to click download. You will then be asked to download a file called "B2CAppSetup.exe" Step 3: Dont close the window. Click next and follow the instructions. During this process you will download the CORRECT PC SUITE and the CORRECT USB DRIVER Install those 2. KAU TIM. To connect to the pc, based on my experience and because i was a Sony Ericsson user, I thought it auto connects to PC mode. You will need to change the settings to connect to the PC. This option will be given to you under the "connections" of you phone. Change it to connect to pc. (My phone sync-ing now cannot check - will cirrect this part later) So after you set your phone you can connect the phone to pc via usb cable and sync. My personal experience with this is the driver problem. When I connect the phone via usb, Windows XP cannot find the driver needed and shows the type of hardware as this "LG : 1 CDC and 1 MS and 1 DPS". If you encounter this go to where your pc suite is installed and look for a folder named "USB Setup". Install the .exe inside and you should be able to sync phone to pc. Hope this information is useful. I mean, it took me 2 days of searching high and low to be able to use the pc sync and the information all came to me in bits and pieces. So just a simple compilation from me to you guys =). |

erm im okay w/ playing videos on my phone.
but all the video i download from zedge la..ahaha.. if you wanna test you can play it first on your pc then move it to your hp. if it can play smoothly on the pc but not in the hp probably the size is too big. you can try to minimize the size. but if after that you can't play it. try other videos. and if it's still can't play.. just sent it to the shop where you bought it. =DD that will solve everything.hahahahaha.. |

Hi guys, i wanna ask if this phone is actually unisex? I saw my sister using it the other day (she just came back from overseas) and my iphone just broke, so i tot good phone to use in the meantime. However she and many of my friends have repeatedly pointed out to me this phone looks like it for females only.

im one of the ks360 user. it unisex phone for sure lah bro. im using the black with the silver colour pad. this phone made for teenagers. buy those colour that match with guy of course. don't tell me u buying pink colour since u think it will make u unique and cute. i own myself a iphone but i still prefer use this one as my daily phone. it's quite simple, fresh design most of all the price was nice.

problem with ringtone!
i set my ringtone to miley's song. then i change it to muse's song. but then when someone call me, miley's song would play. even after i restart my phone it's still the same. ugh !! then i deleted miley's song. but still a LG ringtone would play(in the default sound file) help?? |

bought yesterday during phone sales in shah alam.
rm600, fon+1Gb. good looking. i want to try qwerty actually..haha as a gift for my sister. if she doesn't like it, i'll keep for myself |

does it support .jar files? i want to install .jar games i don't really like the pre-installed game. regarding the theme, yes it is hard to find... |

installed a few games already
however, the game installation time seem to be longer than w910i. why ah? hm.. 1. do any1 know how to make the game in landscape mode? all games i've installed are in potrait mode except the pre-installed games, or this is the characteristics of the game itself? 2. what is the difference between .jar & .jad? i'm not familiar with these format. 3. for this fon, java application will consume the fon's internal memory? |

so far i'm happy with this phone.
lots of review on other website said it's good too. but i dont know why i can't change my ringtone! ugh so annoying..! everytime someone calls, the sound 'this time' on the default sound would play. x_x |

wow~~~~~got a second hand one with a forumer today
RM400+1gb + full set still with 8months warranty Nice phone there... before this i was a LG viewty user...... sad to downgrade cuz my elder brother take my phone to use as he is a manager who using antique phone.. so i oso dun mind giving him..... thats what i got for myself... LG Q! it is really Q, n the camera is also acceptable.. 2.0mp but better that the w580i....(i think only la...dun shoot me) for the touch screen...hmmp. nice also..but i found out slightly diffrent with LG viewty Btw...LG screen protector are hard to get =.= i give it 8/10 for this phone! |

LG Cellphone screen protector indeed is difficult to find. You can only manage to get those that fits other models but used on it only .. this is what I did for my KU990. |

my phone rosak. when i slide it, the screen goes blank. can't type sms. technically can la, but have to type correctly, then slide back to see if what i type is correct or not. lost the warranty. ugggh. so frustrated. been to many shops, and one guy said maybe cost about rm200 :'( |

I have this phone, one time, accidently dropped to the floor, the car porch floor to be more specific, at first i thought the screen already break, but thank god, it didn't even scratch without the screen protector, but after that, my songs in the memory card when crazy, soon, the memory card supplied by the dealer corrupted..
Other thing is, the phone, when u talk to people, we can hear them but they can't hear us. I've been eyeing for this phone since it was released last year, but didn't get myself to buy it as my phone was still usable then.
But now my cheap Motorola V360 is giving me a headache so I'm planning to buy this phone. May I know the current price for this phone (original phone) and where can I get it in KL? |

i just bought this handphone last monday. i get it for only rm480. original set with free 1gb micro sd card. hehe.. i really like this handphone. really kewl for texting. but if got many2 sms in your inbox or sent messages it can lags your hp. i heard LG won't release this model again, so if you guys really wanna buy this model, be fast!! >.<
