Conclusion

Overall a good reasonably priced messaging phone with adequate functions.
Nothing much to complain and nothing to shout about other than the qwerty.
If u are a hardcore SMS-er, this phone is for you..
If u hunger for specs.. better get those windows mobile with qwerty.
This phone is for fun and chat-a-lot users..

end users will take a 2nd look at it becoz of its PRICE...the first look is bcos of the qwerty..hehe..
if its priced at RM1xxx.. who would even wanna think of owning it...plus... its an LG ( like most of them say)
I must say the pricing is acceptable...of course..with that pricing..u get some u lose some...if RM699 with WIFI too..then i think LG is doin a charity here..haha

its like..

no wifi - RM100
no 3G - RM100
no auto focus - RM100
limited touchscreen function - RM100

hense..from RM1099 - RM400 = RM699 a very frenly price

Its too cheap for them to include a pouch..even those RM1xxx also no pouch except the RM1999 SECRET..

The back is rubberize..like some of the SE..its not scratch proof but slightly more scratch resistant than normal plastics..

using SMS for so so so so long..only till today i realized the TIME of the sms is NOT same as the SENDERS or the RECEIVERS time..

so IF A send to B at 10.00pm on his phone..and B received the SMS at 10.01pm on his phone. It might be showing 9.55pm on the sms details.

get what i m saying..its following the time of the SMS center .. i think..

thus..the THREADED VIEW of this KS360 will be a bit mess up..unless u sync ur time...

It involves SENDER , RECEIVER and SMS centers time when sending SMS..

BUT the time will only FOLLOW the SMS center..

IF A send to B @ 10pm BUT the time recorded is actually 9.55pm of the SMS center..

SO, the threaded view will follow the SMS's time and the sequence will be mix up..

- sliding mechanism is sturdy..but donno after few months what will happen la..
- qwerty keypad have good tactile feedback BUT a lil bit stiff to press
- screen? A RM 699 phone with QVGA...sure better than those SEs 176x220 with similiar price
- laggy? yes. a bit 1.5sec maybe

not sure...i pay them RM700 and my balance is RM1..how much is it?

wifi + 3G = RM300
Total price = RM699 + RM300 = RM999
then this model will not be popular and this thread wont be hot anymore..

RM1000 for a LG mid end? 2MP fixed focus only? not fully touch screen?what is LG thinking...get SE better..

Lowyat - RM650-RM699

i think if u get from those big place like KLCC lg mobile..its definitely selling at RRP..
if u get a those kiosk selling lg as well, i think u can get cheaper price.like that someone who got it at RM650 with free micro sd..

i never expect this phone will sync with ur pc in the first place..thats why they didnt include any CDs..hahha..

LG is targeting this phone towards end users who are heavy texters. FULL STOP. anything other than that..its all basic..
u dont expect a RM699 that could sync with your Outlook, quickoffice or whatsoever...

needless to say..is will reach " semua orang pun pakai sama" stage..haha...
