for those who use wifi and connect to PSN
but always face DC issues, try disabling 802.11 B/G/N and just enable G. i tried it last night, managed to finish a few games. and i tried just leaving the ps3 logged into psn for a few minutes just now,so far so good. so just try enabling 802.11G. i used to use 802.11 B & G & N DC non stop. didnt even do anything, just barely sign in,and get cut off now seems to be OK. (will test later tonight prolonged usage) |

guys, one question. now my PS3 is directly connected to my modem.
usually, after connecting, i will always check the PS3 wether it got the 60.xx.xx.xx ip, if didnt, i will just disconnect and reconnect again until i get it. the thing is, if i use router, how can i achieve the same thing as the router is the one who assigns the IP? do i need to assign the router to 60.xx.xx.xx ip, and after what, no matter what IP i get it will not affect the speed? |

Er, IINM the router also gets the streamyx IP when dialing Streamyx. SO, you can login to your router's setup page with the PS3's browser, check the IP you have, and if it's a crappy one just redial or restart your router.
