Hei guys...i have ordered 4 jerseys from kitbag and the total amount is 113.53 GBP. Today while i was not at home the UPS guy came and he told my mom to pay them RM 225.59(RM25.00 for disbursement fee and RM200.59 for Duty amount) which i thought its kinda weird for them to charge the tax together under the UPS Invoice. How do i confirm that the Custom has really taxed my parcel and it is not a fraud from whomever ? I just wanna make sure before i pay please someone can clarify this for me ? thx in advance and i am really sad that shiTTs happened...20% sales but on the other hand 40+ % taxed...sad...

Dude, you ordered 115 gbp worth of products, sure la kena tax. You have read this thread before right, so u shud have known the "ways of the dragon" (cannot say direct, mod tak suka, haha).

UPS will pay your tax first and you have to pay them back in order for you to get your package.

What a serious cock up man! You're like entering the lion's den through the main door. Haha. It's not a fraud. You have indeed broken the customs rules. Sorry to hear that man.

Altogether slightly over RM4xx... Sigh, it's well worth until the next 6 months to get another jersey haha!

OMGGED: I ended up paying RM100 for a discounted third kit as well with package containing two kits, simply misfortune.

IMO, the limit for Malaysian custom's tax is too low....i mean, RM500? Strict Aussie immigration also allow up to AUD1000!

but then again, if they charge taxes if you really exceed the rule, i guess there's nothing to argue about....but if they charge tax for below RM500 and below 1kg, then vmad.gif

It is written "SiDMU08". I think I know what it means... SiDMU08 means SportingID Manchester United 2008.

Since SportingID is the manufacturer of Man United's UCL NNs...

Most of the jersey collectors use ebay.

It can be trusted as long as you know how to.. Try to avoid buying for vague sellers (selling M and XL only) and new sellers with very few feedback.

If you need help from me or others to verify if a jersey sold in ebay is fake or not, you can just simply ask. Make sure you insist on using Royal Mail International Signed-For for postage with tracking code and it is more safer.

That's not the washing tag.The larger white label that you're holding is.

An example of mine

This is a past season Nike authentic jersey. It's different from this season's.
The largest longest white label is the washing tag. Washing tags are different depending on brands, types, year manufactured and even the regions that the jerseys are produced for.
