As mentioned before..

But please don't discuss it openly here because I got noted from the mods that discussing on how to avoid being taxed by the customs are illegal here.

So if there are any further discussions, the mods will take action. Please bare this in mind.

Something interesting for Liverpool fans:

When I was looking around the classic kits in the www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk, found these two kits:

Notice the difference?

And if you were asking....

No wonder it's being sold for £99.99 in www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk

Definitely super duper rare by adidas.

Here's the link to the rare jersey: http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/Pre...oduct_info.html

Maybe you guys might not get the idea on why I'm comparing the 2 kits as shown above.

If you compare between these two kits:

The long sleeve replica seems to have the wrong sleeves!

Compare them with the match worn ones...!

I would say maybe those were the times when shirt manufacturers like adidas used to differentiate match worn jerseys and replikas.  hmm.gif
*
Shouldn't be.. You can see the 2 match photos I placed together.. Long sleeves and yet correct sleeves.

I believe it could be a manufacturing defect.. will be super rare..

Jerseyman .. the link that you've posted. The classic football shirts, are they authentic?

You sure identified Liverpool's one as authentic ..
*
Of course they are.. 100% authentic.

But they are a bit pricey.

QUOTE(redscorpion @ Nov 14 2008, 12:33 PM)
i want to put NNs for the united home kit 98/00. ive checked with SoccerAuthentics but the price for a set is expensive so i called QLine and they still have all the numbers and alphabets except  B  I  K  7  1  8  9.

looks like i cant put beckham's name on it..  sad.gif
so which one do u guys prefer between these three names

i) jonhsen 5
ii) may 4
iii) stam 6

im thinking of putting stam on it. what do u say? or u guys know any other place that still have these NNs besides those two i mentioned above? or should i just get the beckham's NNs from Soccer Authentics? or another thing, just get the letters B and K and number 7 from Soccer Authentics and the rest just buy it at QLine
*
I think it's ok to go for SoccerAuthentic's BECKHAM 7 nameset. It is player size (bigger and nicer).

The replica ones are smaller..

Besides GBP rate is now lower so a good chance for you.

Just wanna share with you guys from LYN forum...

Recently myself and aw13 from the My Football Jersey Collectors (My-FJC) created a special 'My-FJC Jersey' project for the members of the My-FJC forum. Response was overwhelming but at the end only 30 members paid on time and we later then looked for the jersey and designer to have it done with our designs and ideas.

What is a jersey collector if we don't have a jersey which represents our community amongst jersey collector friends in Malaysia and other countries eh?

So we did 30 outfield player kits, 1 goalkeeper kit and 1 prototype away kit. Here are the results:

wao , tat's cool isn't it?

Can i like get myself one as well?  biggrin.gif haha

Haha.. Sorry mate.. We decided to make it a one off.. meaning no repeats la..

Making them unique.

Besides, we made them with no profit intention. We clearly and honestly said how much was the exact cost of making the kits, thus the quantity or amount of the jerseys made were no concern.. if less people, nevermind.. a lot also nevermind

But who knows few years in the road one of these jerseys end up in ebay.. haha.. (hopefully not).

And btw, you guys can get a glimpse of aw13's kitroom in the background of the photo.. I'm planning to build my own later after I move to Shah Alam next year... thumbup.gif

QUOTE(MobyDick @ Nov 20 2008, 10:06 AM)
I have this home(white) England jersey 07' to 09' bought last year with NN, the problem is the front mini-numbering is coming-off partially & I have tried the remedial methods mentioned in pg.1 of this thread which is apply water & ironing with low heat on the reverse side but it's not working & the problem persist. What else can you guys suggest as I know the last resort will be to use 'elephant-glue'. Any other type of adhesive which I can apply & iron-on? Thanks in advance to the sifus here.
*
Hi...

You mean the front number is peeling off?

This is a tricky one..

Set your iron to medium heat. 2 dots.

Try covering the front number with a plain cloth.. then iron on top of it and press it firmly for 5 seconds. Very firmly.

Be careful when doing this.

Then iron beneath the front number again. Also 5 seconds, press firmly the iron.

If it doesn't work, maybe you might need to put some glue beneath the number... because the glue from the number has worn off

better send individually... and remember delivering via postage has it's risks as well...

Guys...

Can we put aside the discussion of buying jerseys aside through another thread?

atambo, I believe it would be appropriate if you continued your sales discussion elsewhere. Why not open a garade sales thread instead? Although this thread is a football jersey talk thread, I hope we try to avoid constantly discussing about sales only here.

Thanks

We cannot simply share information on how to differentiate fake and ori here to the public.

In a way, these kind of information should be discreet and only used to help people when they want to buy original jerseys.

Such information can be misused by irresponsible people so I cannot share too much information.

There are many general rules that helps us to determine if a jersey is potentially fake:

1. Fakes are only M and XL.
2. Fakes don't have proper washing tags/additional security tags inside the jersey
3. The quality of the embroidery/material is poor
4. There is no barcode sticker on the price tag

That is all I can say.

And the liverpool jersey poppy123 shared looks ok to me.

right thx..

is it the same as the printing Kitbag does for EPL shirt?

the replica size, which is smaller in size?
*
Yes because kitbag is actually the same company that supplies online kit and other merchandise sales for manutd.com under the name United Direct.

Or, to summarize things... kitbag = united direct
