Thanks bro, ur really resourceful  rclxms.gif

Then the player and replika version of 2000-2001 NN is it still the same style with the player version's of past seasons up to 2006 ones widely available out there in ebay?
*
Yes, only the Champions 1999-2000 patches are different.

And not only the patches, the NNs are also different. Player issue kits uses PU type NNs that are player size (bigger than replica size). Dunno why Chris Kay did this for that season.

When you say player size is bigger, that applied to the player size patches as well, right? Like you just confirmed that the millenium special edition patch is the replika one, but the measurement is exactly the same size with the regular player size patch as stated by soccer authentics, I thought they were supposed to be slightly smaller?
*
Previous EPL Champions patches during 'THE FA PREMIER LEAGUE' and 'BARCLAYCARD PREMIER LEAGUE' (before the one with BARCLAYS premier league) only have 1 size. Player issue size.

Then during the 2004-2005 season (when Arsenal were champions in 2003-2004 season) there were 2 sizes.. even the current one has 2 sizes, but so far Malaysia sells the player issue sized for the current 07/08 Champions patches.

So the ones sold by soccerauthentic are player issue sizes.

So that means I can apply:

with this (of course same set of colour):

And this (with the positioning of the letters that is the same format as of current ones):

user posted image

for the last Umbro MU home kit without having to fear that they were not tally against each other at all.  rclxm9.gif
*
Sure, of course you can..

But would be perfect if you can get the 2000-2001 patches, because for that season, United wore all lextra type patches and NNs.

Since you want to apply on the last umbro home kit, you can use the 2000-2001 patches:

user posted image

And I think you better opt for this one because in the 2001-2002 season (when Van Nistelrooy joined) United used the same patches shown above and also the same player size NNs you are purchasing from soccerauthentics.

hey guys , can give me a hand on this item ? is it authentic?
*
A bit sceptical because the seller only sells M and XL only. Signs of fake jersey there..

And if you see the other items the seller sells, all are fake jerseys (hyper grade?)

I was thinking of applying IRWIN 3 for the last UMBRO home kit as that is also his last season with United.

And I want to know how come the above patches and the following ones have extra ledges?

user posted image
*
Bro.. why are u so worried about the extra ledges... and what do you mean ledges? doh.gif

user posted image
This one is old stock from Chris Kay

user posted image
This one is a repro made by Sporting ID (who now owns the copyright to produce EPL patches)

Notice that the old stock one has 'LEXTRA' printed all over the plastic film while the repro one doesn't?

No worries on that also. Both are authentic.

This is from soccerauthentics right? I know the seller, the items are 100% authentic.

Too bad and Sorry bro! No Man Utds!

All are either player issued or match worn! While in regards of sizes its most L or XL coz those are these sizes or players but I think got a few XXL or XXXL, Like crouch wore XXXL while is he at Aston Villa, I was also supprised. These smallest that I've is a M size Man City 03-04 LS Away Shirt of Shaun Wright-Phillips, coz he really wore this size got the shirt from some collector in England.

Hopefully I will be able to take pics of all the shirts soon and get it uploaded for you guys.

I don't see what's wrong with the number 9. Is it crumpled?

That's normal...

If you follow the steps I shared in the first page, how to iron your jersey safely.. you can make the number 9 smooth and nice...

Suddenly most of the UCL namesets for the third kit's out of stock at United Direct, but are still available for the home kit one. Must be too in demand.

Funnily, this past week I put in 3 orders at United Direct and 2 has been shipped. The only one that I keep cancelling and reordering all the time is still stuck there. I suspect United Direct didn't update which nameset's been out of stock, hence why they don't want to pick the items?
*
It doesn't make sense, because the same namesets are used for both Home and Third kit.

Dunno why la United Direct did this..

Sometimes they are a bit lowsy like Kitbag. Well.... since United Direct = Kitbag.

Received my jersey today, taxed for RM206. The UPS guy gave me some tips for the next order. Taken a few shots. Will post em up later after I finish work.

I 'abused' last season's Man Utd jerseys. Crying now because the line at the back is peeling off now. Maybe I want to sew it later. Iskk .. any tips?

You tried gluing them back? I did teach someone here on how to do it..

not yet. is it available on first post? i'll check later ... not easy to use the net at the office at the moment ... what kind of glue?
*
Use any gam gajah glue.

About the line..

1. Use gam gajah to glue the line.. put some gam gajah below the line, then press the line using a book for 10 seconds hardly.

2. Then terbalikkan or flip your jersey inside out straight away and iron the area where the line sits.. The heat from the iron will help bond the glue stronger.

Don't iron directly on top on the white line because this will melt the line.

Tell me the results later.

Looks authentic to me.. But I'm not 100% sure...

This is the correct design of the famous kit Romario still wore during his last season there..

Fakes during the season when this kit was produced, they were no fake kits with correct sponsors (kappa). Normally fakes in this year will be the ones with funny sponsors such as 'fly hawk', 'unisport', 'redskin' etc.. the pirates back then were not daring enough to simply imitate the brand.

The features looks good to me... I can see clearly a lot of barca and kappa shiny logos across the jersey, which is one of the specs of the kit.
Anyway the kit looks legit to me.

Just checked United Direct, the blue third kits with free UCL NNs are restocked.

And best thing is, if you buy one now, you will get free catalogue.

In replying to faris21's question on the Barca jersey..

This is the design of the 1994-1995 Barcelona home jersey:

user posted image
24 SEP 1994: JORDI CRUYFF OF BARCELONA ATTEMPTS TO GET AWAY
FROM A DEFENDER DURING THE BARCELONA V COMPOSTELLA SPANISH LEAGUE MATCH PLAYED AT THE NOU CAMP.

user posted image
24 SEP 1994: GHEORGHE HAGI OF BARCELONA RUNS WITH THE BALL
DURING THE BARCELONA V COMPOSTELLA SPANISH LEAGUE MATCH PLAYED AT THE NOU CAMP.

So the design looks the same and looks authentic..

But one thing that is interesting about FC Barcelona during the 1994-1995 season, is that they have a different kit used during the UEFA Champions League. That season, Barca reached to the finals ((18th May 1994 in Athens, Greece) and only to be beaten by AC Milan 4-0.

user posted image

Front Row L-R: Romario, Albert Ferrer, Guillermo Amor, Sergi, Jose Maria Bakero (captain), unknown

user posted image
AC Milan's Marcel Desailly holds off Barcelona's Romario

And throughout the tournament, Barca wore a different kit:

user posted image
27 Apr 1994: Hristo Stoichkov (left) of Barcelona is brought down during the European Cup semi-final
against FC Porto at the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona won the match 3-0

And for United fans, the Barca team will be remembered because we faced a very good Barca team that year and could only drew 3-3 at Old Trafford and lost 4-0 at Nou Camp.

And one thing that sticks in my mind about the away match at Nou Camp, is that United wore a unique version of the black kungfu away kit:

user posted image
1994: Steve Bruce of Manchester United leads the team onto the pitch before the European Cup
match against Barcelona at the Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona won the match 4-0.

As you can see, the black away kit had 'SHARP' sponsors instead of 'SHARP VIEWCAM'. This is because of UEFA regulations that limits the total number of letters at the sponsors (WTF..).

And I don't know why, during that match, the kappa logos are removed along the sleeves (from collars to sleeves). Maybe another stupid UEFA ruling?

And I have some photos of the match worn kit (with signature) worn by Steve Bruce (as shown above) during the match:
