Well, if you are willing to dig deeper and be more patient, you will find a lot good used speakers

My journey just started when I heard the Diamond 9.1, will continue until I find a decent pair of 9.2 or 9.3

Actually most AV products in Malaysia are overprice. Majority of distributors and dealers have high profit margin.

Anyone know which brand has the lowest USD>MYR price (in other words, lowest profit margin)? I'm looking at something closer to USD retail price x 4.

I found the Dali speakers at A&L Audio website. But I checked this morning, they have increase the price to RM737 and RM1034 respectively.. But still lower than Wharfedale

Hopefully they are not selling it as single unit. By normal practice nobody selling new stereo speakers in single unit, especially in Malaysia

Speaker should be sold in single unit. There are times where we need a single one, especially for center channel.

The price you quoted before is without GST, the new price is with GST.

Hard to say which one is better, there are so many models for both brands, you need to narrow down your search and compare, best audition with your gears setup to listen weather you like it or not

Asking the price from authorised distributor, was given RSP 23++, even after discount is still around 1800-1900, Singapore stores sell at RM1200++ only.

Damn, thats expensive!! I still remember i got my Wharfedale 121 at rm900 3 years ago. So huge the price gap!
sigh.. How am i going to buy the center speaker..
