Ibrahimovic hails Mourinho as ''complete coach''

Internazionale striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hailed Jose Mourinho as ''the most complete coach'' he has played under and believes the former Chelsea and Porto coach has already had a huge impact on his career.

GettyImages

Peas in a pod: Ibramhimovich and Mourinho.

Often inconsistent and temperamental Sweden international told the club's official website: ''In only two or three months with him I have learned a lot, perhaps more than what I have learned in the last five years at the same level.''

''[Moruinho] is most certainly the most complete coach that I have ever had. I think he can help me improve a lot.''

Reading between the lines of Ibrahimovic's comments is seems the striker holds littlel lasting respect for Mourinho's predecessors in the Nerazzurri hot-seat, Fabio Capello and Roberto Mancini.

Mourinho joined the Italian champions this summer replacing Mancini, who guided Inter to three successive league titles before being dismissed.

The self-styled 'Special One' has already achieved success at Inter with his team winning the Italian Supercoppa in August, and after six games Inter are joint Serie A leaders alongside Lazio and Udinese and remain unbeaten in the Champions League.

However it hasn't all been smooth sailing for Mourinho who is enduring a torrid time with the Italian media after several run-ins over his tendency to send his assistant to press conference and ducking the chance to be interviewed at the same time as Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri live on television.

Mourinho is a true legend!
I will never forget the day he started to coach Chelsea!
He gave us the confidence that we can win many cups and fight with other top teams!
He also help the players by absorbing the media attention himself just to let his players stay focus on the pitch.
The success is already built and Scolari is carrying his legacy!!

Good job on the site madfag, keep up the good work.

Another pointer would be to update matches carried live plus times and dates for the benefit of those wanting to catch such matches.

aw is not asking you to update live. He is referring to the information of the live broadcast on the tv so that the others won't miss the matches. smile.gif

Anyway, good luck in managing the thread. So far, it has been passed down to good hands. We're looking forward to see how you can cope with this one. Keep up the good work, mate.

u mean besides the goal post? haha couldn't help it laugh.gif

hmm looks like we have the malouda camp on one side and the kalou camp on the other hmm.gif
it would be interesting to see both on at the same time, but kalou does better on the left cos he's very good at cutting in onto his fave right foot.
besides that, we have joe cole. kalou needs games to remain consistent, and to me malouda seems to stuggle against the big teams.
kalou saved our ass by getting the equaliser at home against spurs during the carling cup in mourinho's last full season, (a high pressure game as we were chasing the match) and other examples include the 2 great games he had in both legs against liverpool in the ucl, (his cross lead to riise putting through his own net for the away leg, and he cut in for a good shot to trouble reina with drogs following up for the breakthrough at home)
his equaliser against utd is another indication that he's one for the tough teams.

malouda on the other hand is slightly faster and more direct, with wicked crosses when he's on form. he fights for every ball and is definitely more aggressive than kalou and this earns him some extra brownie points. but its hard to recall a good solid performance by the lad against a top team. so this makes me slightly in favour of our ivorian. however if i could experiment, i'd give malouda a chance on the right to see how good he can cut inside, dribble, or unleash some ferocious shots from that left foot of his.

Great job indeed madfag for starting the thread.
It's great to see Chelsea FC supporters supporting each other and to be frank, I'm proud to be the Blues fan.

Truly hope that madfag will bring continuous updates to the thread and most importantly, keep the blue flag flying high!
