In terms of experience, Riccy is the type of player we needed. Great positioning and he has sight on goal too!

In terms of speed, Inanovic can match up to it but then he is still too young to break through the ranks. He does well in international stage alongside with Vidic and that's why we bought him! Scolari will do anything to breed this young prospect.

But the best defender still goes to the Mr.Chelsea. He is not perfect, but close to perfection.

before we worry about liverpool, don't forget we have boro first. that's going to be a cracking match as well. to me one of their best buys is aliadiere from arsenal. mido and alves upfront..gotta watch the setpieces.

the fast paced speed demon now have the hamstring problem.. hope big phil can do something about this... more and more chelsea players were damaged during big time... anyway that's the prove of how chelsea player's had given their very best for every match opportunity that were lies in front of them

heard about the news about gerrard defending the boo boys? i totally do not agree with that. not arguing about the rights to boo or not to boo, booing isnt gonna do any player any good though.

i'm a little worried about chelsea squad...most of 1st teamers is in injury list...even Petr Cech is set to miss Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Slovenia after sustaining a thigh injury against Poland.

i'm a little worried about our owner roman since the credit crunch and the fall of the stocks... i heard that roman lost alot of his $ last week...

About our defense line, yeah...Iva is good, he will need more games in order to develop and Im pretty sure Scolari has it set in his diary of coaching..it may sound rude but, if we have our stallion, strong and paceful...one day it will gets old, and die..therefore Carvalho is the man for the job! his positioning is good in both defend/attacking pieces ..and when Iva is to shine maybe in the next season or 2?
