10km is a quarter marathon. anyway ppl who finish an ironman are called ironman, but techinically and based on history only the winner is called ironman. so guess no harm calling a 10km finisher a marathoner? or maybe a quarter marathoner?

QUOTE(seanlel @ Jun 27 2009, 02:17 PM) I asked my friend to collect the racepack for me... Ok, this is my first time joining 10km run, so I indicate the size of my vest as 'M' because this is my size. When I looked at the vest that I got yesterday, 'M' is REALLY SMALL! It is like lady's 'M'! So, it is quite funny when I put on that vest on my body. I see nobody here talk about vest, so I would like to raise up this question... Is it the size of vest for runner really tight??? Oh yeah, they couldn't find my number and give me another number as well... sigh... Dissapointed with Standard Charted. i also took size m which is really really small for me haha. exactly like you said, its like a lady's 'm'. so guess ur not alone

QUOTE(ccube @ Jul 4 2009, 11:19 PM) 100k is not for me either. i may try the subcategory of 100k Duo (50k x 2). Need to find a partner crazy enuf to run 50k with me looks tough. cut off time for duo is 9 hrs. means 4:30 for 50km....cant even do 42km in that time yet haha. maybe get a kenyan running partner hahaha. then u get like 6 hour buffer.

Need to find a partner crazy enuf to run 50k with me Added on July 4, 2009, 11:42 pm"The cut-off time for a runner running 50km in the 100km duo will be 9hrs and for a runner running 25km in the 50km duo will be 4 ½ hrs" I interpret it as the cut off time for a runner doing 50k is 9hrs. so max out for 2 runners is 18hrs. am i right you could be right.....i not sure too.
