riq, yah i dun expect you to run a 30k without a good base training. get urself running more 20k and in not time you shud be able to hack a 30k run, trust me. not doubt the cushioning of the Luna is good but IMHO its too soft (almost like a CROC sandal, so much so its absorbing everything and not pushing my feet up during the heel-to-toe transition) In such situation, you spend more energy lifting up your feet especially when you are doing a long run like 25k or 30k.meatball, come on.....nothing is easy in a race.
