Preordered the hongkong release Eva 2.22 limited edition bluray which is currently sold out and out of print within less than 4 days after it was available for preorder... Wowzer!

Some observations

- While the Vatican Treaty in the subs said that each country can't have more than 3 Eva, it's more likely that it means each Nerv base. These are Europe/Russia (Unit 05 destroyed by Mari, 02 given to Japan with Asuka), Japan (00, 01 was built there, so was given a fully functioning production mode, unit 02), Asia (dunno lol), US (One tebaboom eva, Unit 03 gave to Japan, and became and angel).

- Kaji did not gave Adam (embryo) to Gendou.

- Mari's secret plan, which seems to involve all the pilots is could mean that she knew of the plan for 3rd impact earlier than most people

- Mari also knew that there is a "Berserk" mode built inside each eva. Thus meaning most likely Seelee and top dogs of NERV (Gendou and Fuyutsuki) knew that the Eva can go Berserk

- Seelee stopping Instrumentality with Kaworu suggest that they knew Gendou would try to double cross them

- Instrumentality was started by merging of Eva 01 (Lilith) with the core of 00 (Adam). Wonder why Gendou did not do it earlier

- While there was no mention of souls (most importantly, lack of Kyouko in Unit 02), Gendou implies that Yui WAS taken inside unit 01, as it rejected the dummy plug system

- It's still debateable wether or not the Asuka in the preview is the same Asuka as mentioned by Ritsuko, she was contaminated by the angel, and most certainly be a test subject for Seelee

- Kaworu implies that this has happened before (most likely after EoE) since he mentioned that he will (this time) make Shinji happy

- Preview shows Rei with some of her clones, which are not the same age as her.

i wanna ask wat was the testube "key" thingy that kaji gave the commander?
are they going to duplicate something similar to rei?

Hideki Anno watched too much Back To The Future trilogy, played too much Prince of Persia Sand of Time and probably is a big fan of Kamen Rider Den O.

Sadly, I stopped caring about Evangelion's deeper plot points after seeing the last 4-5 eps. It just doesnt seem worth the effort trying to figure out whats really going on. I just found myself getting swept with the flow, lol.

If you want subtitled version (chinese, english), get the official hongkong release from YA...

bu-but, trying to figure things out, then only to find out youre wrong at every aspect because in the end hideki anno is just rick rolling us is half the fun of watching eva
