Any idea if the pricing for HDD rising anytime soon. Planning to grab a 1TB HDD after CNY. Does Caviar Blue have 1TB version? I only saw Caviar Green thus far.

I dont have any major issues with CZone thus far so i might just get it from them. My External 1TB is getting full and i need to get another one as a replacement. However, it does seem that the Caviar Green is a lil bit too slow to my liking and was searching around for Caviar Blue, but cant seem to find it.

actually not just the cache n rotational speed.. it's the areal density also from large capacity drives, so those 1.5TBs (from 3.5inch) and 500GB (from 2.5inch) are mighty fast when transfering large files.. but only seagate 1.5TB makes them now so they are also "affected"
