I saw some booth are selling RM120 and RM140 for 1GB of DDR400 also.

Lol, due to current bad world economy and upcoming core i7 & DDR3 triple channel technology, I am playing the waiting game while sticking to my beloved P4 rig. Still works great as a HTPC!

Haha.. Depend on usage la bro.. If ya daily task is enough for P4 to handle then stick to it. If not then really "bo pian" lo.. Need to move on. That is how life going on.

Wah X1950PRO so cheap. Last time I remember it costs more than RM1k when first launched

And 22" monitors are cheap too. RM600 can get a Samsung 22" LCD adi. Time for me to ditch my CRT

Hi all, I'm still using the old socket 478 Celeron 2.0GHz, 400FSB, 128kB cache. I found this Celeron processor's cpu usage always 100% consistently when watching online streaming video, and the frame will lagging a bit, even normal screen also like that.

I found that the motherboard does support Pentium 4 3.06GHz, 533FSB, 512kB cache with Hyper-Threading. So is it wise to upgrade to this processor? Is Hyper-Threading good enough to handle the online video streaming?

Frankly speaking, if u really really really has limited budget let say, RM100-150 then it is wise to upgrade the processor to a better one. Otherwise, save up and go for new system. It's ain't cheap to upgrade old sch rigs like P4.. The upgrading price is very high.. Not say I'm dragging u to get a new system but this is the facts.
