Btw, my P4 at office just kaput. Duno what's going on.. Changed new PSU + AVR the hang problem still occurred. The morning even worse, cant even log into windows. Did some experience, the system seems to hanged once after 30secs. Tried without HDD boot into bios also will hang. Guess is the mobo giving problem. So bad.. Now i gotta use a AMD K6 466 + 384mb rigs as backup. The P4 ben sent into hospital.

I think my internals are too dusty. Too lazy to clean it up. Hmm..last I checked it hit 80c on full load. Caused artifacts to appear while gaming.

Haha the RA3 launch was really nice I didn't buy it, but my friends did so I went there with them to kill some time. Quite worth it actually, RM139 for the standard pack. Got goodie bags, lucky draws, buffet lunch and free ice cream too.

Cleaning is needed to perform from time to time just to ensure the system is running fine without problem.

Bad day i have.. AMD K6 466 + 384mb SDRAM really kill my interest on surfing.. It lag like hell.. Not the ram nor HDD problem but the processor.

yeah, 19" lcds are freaking cheap nowadays. even LG 19" can get for below RM499.

Usually how you guys clean up the insides of the system? take out everything and wipe part by part? or do you use some blower or some sort to get the dust out?

Take off all, and wipe/vaccum part by part. So that when re-assemble in the casing, the part are shine. Usually take me 2-3hrs for a maintenance thou. Clean of thermal paste, replace in the new 1. Do cable management and so on. Hardest part to clean will be PSU that come with fan. Usually quality PSU comes with atleast 2-3years warranty so cannot take off the case. Just use brush/vaccum to clean off the dusk on fan.


P/s: On the meantime, clean the computer table as well.

Well, usually i did full maintenance including change the thermal paste and resitting the cable. Even the HDD also need to wipe so it looks shine.

yeah cpu take out , clean heat sinks

psu dust off

gpu blow thru fans

hdd wipe dust off

mobo use brush 2 brush dust

ram take out , put back in

each molex cable take out and put back in to ensure locked together again..

Basically most of us have the same way to clean off the dust.Just that the period of cleaning is different only.

any idea how much is the processor for this board?
or how much this board can sell ?

hmm i have 1 board on hand .. i think if cannot use i will sell it becoz the processor somehow koyak ... hahahaha~~
