anybody say game in P4? Running DMC4, C&C3, HL2, CSS on P4, of course with the help of 7600GT.

power problem

get an AVR , if not change PSU

i bought a AVR and resolved that problem. I have a small light bulb connected 2 the same 4 socket plug in my room and previously it flickers (then my PC hangs)

when it flickers, the bulb blows up as well, LOL!

after AVR, it never flickers and my PC never hangs



those games can run on my rig as well, med - high settings on 1280 x 1024

these games can run on p4, sacrifice some things such as shadows and anti aliasing

DMC4 cant because of the Shader Model requirement , where mine is only 2.0

im not surprised a 7600gt can do that as well ~

Yeah. There's those holes at the back there where you can fit the WC tubes through. Don't know if its any good or not since I'm not into WC yet.


Lately my 6800GS overheating la. No OC also artifacts appear when playing CSS. Thinking of getting the Evercool Turbo 2 to replace the stock cooler. RM59 only.

CSS benchmark 1440x900 maxed out details 16X AF 8X AA = 90+fps
7600GT, P4 3.0GHz HT, 2GB DDR400

Haha.. Yea! Invest 3 FM123 on my case. The noise level is still acceptable for me. WC? That not gonna be cheap eh. Still stick to AC better lo. Save $$.

7600GT can get such high fps on CSS?

Haha... No time for gaming ray.. My rigs were not utilized now. Only utilized work place P4 system. Current system just on as DL server.

@fylon,no need to play the game actually. Just load the game and see the average fps for a while can already. Edmin said he tested on benchmark for CSS,you download the file and run the bechmark.

Owh... Quite outdated with benchmark thingy now. Haha! CSS have it own benchmark software like Crysis? Mind show the link?

sorry, only available for benchy with CSS installed. It comes with the game.

what really attracts me it can use USB to flash the BIOS. Last time my P4P800SE also crashed and then i failed to flash the bios =.= End up need to send the board for rma.

The CSS need to install first then only can run?I thought it is a stand alone benchies.

asus also got some useful features. some of their models have expressgate module, can preload linux and use skype and mozilla. very useful if you're in a hurry to use the internet
asus boards also look more classy my previous and current board, plus my bro's one, all have been asus boards

where to find the css benchie? i have css, i tried searching inside the css folder but can't find wor...

i know ASUS is good. and i'm using ASUS all this time too. But.. they are too pricey la. As mentioned in my previous post, the same thing will cost you 100+ more =.=

yeah...i guess that's the price to pay if you wanna get a more popular and better product with some extra features..haha

But there's no point also if u cannot fully utilize those extra features
