me thinking of to install or not to install Vista on my rig, lol...

actually for a 2GB ram rig, Vista on day to day usage would be no problem at all, sure smooth. my main concern in 3D applications performance.

fylon, saw a guy selling 4x2gb DDR2 667 in garage sales for RM300 only! erm, no need 2 patch the TCP/IP connections, i m sure u can torrent fine without patching.

bingooo.... my last installation of a tweaked vista gave me 60fps in CSS benchmark compared to 100fps in xp, same rig, same driver revision. not only benchmarks, but does impact in-game performance.

then use win98 only la  fast and for works only

anyway, hope dell mini 9 launch fast fast with low low price...    intel atom performance is similar to p4 with low power consumption...

my definition of low price. in the region of 1k-1.5k for a netbook. for a nettop, around 800-1k.

Haha.. EEE or Aspire one will be my choice. But still have to wait until Dell's release. MSI wind wasn't a wise choice as the price is almost same with a notebook. 1.7-1.9k. Aspire one might be the good one if put on price vs performance ratio. And the color quite nice also.

agree agree with your comment on hp. i really love their pavillion line of notebooks, darn sleek and sexy. but look at the spec and price..really killing..
