@Jcsy

Yea.. Actually not much different with OC and none OC. Just for personal sanctification i presume. Quite OC for life now.. Somehow just did a little bit OC for benchmark purpose. laugh.gif Other than that, stock all the way. Btw, less OC means:

- Less heat produce thus cut down global warning.
- Less power consumption thus cut down eletric bill.
- Pro-long hardware life thus save our pocket from burning holes.

Everyone is letting go their P4 now. sweat.gif Guys, albert's ram look juicy man.. lust.gif 2*1GB...

Btw guys, just a quick question. (Lazy to open a thread on technical support tongue.gif) High power consumption on computer system will caused a drop the voltage rail? Found something strange with my system.. As with 8400GS, my 12v rail remain unchanged, but once i plug in 8800GTS my 12v rail drop to 11.8V, +5v become 4.88v. sweat.gif

Retail set ray.. Yea! Indeed, recently HDD drop like hell. OEM piece is good but then cannot claim warranty. Actually I was looking for Seagate Barracuda but 7200.11 version with AD15 firmware seems to have alot problem. (Although I'm using now, but has passed 4 months usage and nothing going wrong. tongue.gif *Touch wood*) sweat.gif I dont wanna risk my previous near 1T data.. So go for WD 640 Green. Quiet HDD thou.

@colinwong89
Yea.. WD 640GB has two different version. The previous so call "BLACK" version is for performance type. I think is been known as WD "BLUE" for now. As for the green one, is for power saving and running on 5400rpm when idle. But it will heat up to 7200rpm when the speed is needed. Afterall, the HDD were made for environment friendly ma.. Save power!

After all, the capacity is important for me. laugh.gif Currently running the Seagate 500GB for main OS partition and virtual machine drive due to its 32mb cache has better reading speed. lust.gif And let the WD640 be the data storage.

@Jcsy
Edmin is letting go his 76GS DDR3. RARE item.. brows.gif

@Klemann C
Man.. I got mine 640GB for only RM220. Retail set somemore.. What do u think? sweat.gif

Fanboyism spotted. Anyways, Edmin's card is actually a 76GT. Solid performer for AGP era.. Even smoke 86GT in games. brows.gif Afterall, frankly speaking, I much more concern of card performance vs price ratior. laugh.gif

76GT smoke 86GT Reviews:

@Jcsy
Itu hardware part bro. Haha.. But in term of tech, NV7 series is newer. At least SM3.. And build with smaller die. Cooler! But afterall, unless ur bumping ur current x800 to 79GS/HD38 series, otherwise not really a good move to upgrade.

@Ray
AIKZ!! Aku sik poison dia la.. Hahah! I don't i don't! Duh! doh.gif

P/s: Haha.. Jut unfortunately there were no AGP version of 86GT. Afterall, 76GT still a good card no matter in AGP/PCI-E platform. What does concern is, the power and performance. brows.gif Performance drop is most probably due to the HIS bridge chip for converting the PCI-E interface to AGP. But dont think there will be much performance drop.
