Charging LED. At least Nintendo wasn't stingy with the LEDs now tongue.gif

ahh ic, hehe yeah, instead of having both charging and power LED the same. hmm i noticed there's a battery indicator on the top screen, hopefully that'll be available in-game as well?

Well, if the DSi is able to access the firmware while playing a game (like how the PSP does), the battery bar would most definitely be there. I'm hoping for a built-in soft reset in the firmware as well.

yeah, GH on tour, forgot about that too.

but maybe GH will use the function of the touch screen, both touchable,
one for fret, one for strum =/

You can't even start the game without the grip attached....idea won't work.

Oops, mistook the volume control for the SD slot. Now the volume control being controlled by buttons, one with small hands might accidentally press it, yet we won't know if it's at the maximum volume by a glance and definitely lower sensitivity intervals.

But those people who carry their DS for music in their pockets would find the button arrangement handy. Maybe a long hold to switch tracks?

Wow where did you get the pics!?

Hmm if this one comes to Malaysia, will the price of the NDSL drop?

I think the price still around RM600~700
But since they had remove the slot 2, shouldn't they lower the price shocking.gif

I think this release will surely wipe out all of the Flash Card as I think they had changed the board of DS > <

Remove slot 2 but add all the other features...nope...

When it first arrives here, expect shops to hike it up to RM800 to RM1k+. It's happened with DSL, it can happen again.

As far as flash cards are concerned...high chances it won't work with this DSi....by now Nintendo would have done something with the firmware..but only time will tell....

I would say so too, as the DSi isn't really the complete successor to the DSL. The absence of a SLOT-2 really affects my decision to get one of these. If the SD card can replace SLOT-2 functions (other than guitar frets, paddles, and rumble feature which I don't really care about), I might consider one.

But it doesn't really matter if I going to change or not since there are only some new feature add in there and remove my lovely slot 2 tongue.gif

I like slot 2 more than camera tongue.gif
Btw, do hope the D-pad and button plus L & R have some improvement > < Then I might consider one

I would say that between the SLOT-2 and the extra updates of the DSi, they do have their own merits. Support for WPA, bigger screen and improved speakers are definitely catching my eye here, but that means we won't be seeing anymore extra equipment that could be inserted into the DS for games and the like, which means the SLOT-2 will eventually be obsolete anyway.

Makes sense if they arent going dual touchscreen. It'll be a rather stupid move if they did.
