Yeah. Agree. Theoricalll, high tension mean more power. But must be able to handle and correct wrist-usage when do return. Like those State, International & National player, they can produce a very powerful shot with higher tension (e.g Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, etc etc) is because they using their wrist power more + shoulder, waist power & timing so well. To do this, they undergo high-intensive-hell training.
Not only to master it but to perfect it.
For social player like us, using a lower tension (average tension 24 or 25), it sufficient enough. The most important is, we are comfortable and able to do a descent / good return. There is even a guy who can do a powerful jumping smash with tension 18 only
