Got any international player use Prince racket? A sifu recommend me it is a very good racket also with more reasonable price compare with Yonex/LiNing. . .
BTW I thought LiNing is a quite new brand but actually it is already started since 1990, but maybe on others sport equipments and not badminton racket??  hmm.gif

u can ask chiller's opinion. He's using Prince racket if i'm not mistaken smile.gif

First, welcome to the game.

I will not suggest any good brand, cause I really dont know, different ppl suggest different brand. I will only share with you my experience of shoe I used before.

Yonex, I personally used one before, just a cheapo one, roughly RM100 plus, played twice a week, last me about little bit more than one year. The shoe still ok, only the lining (dunno what called, the one connect your shoe cloth/ leather with the rubber) start to peel off little bit, still can glued back if want to. My problem is I sweat a lot, sweat till shoe oso wet, so, smell, got to sun dried it, so, guess this is the problem, the shoe no grip liao, as if like roller blade in court.

Bata/ Power shoe, very cheap, RM50 got oledi. But, you what you pay is what you get. The sole, last me max 6 months only, then, again, start roller blade.

My current shoe, Apacs brand, cheapo one oso, less than RM100, but, got gel and thicker sole, so, sort of softer when jump and land. But, dunno is the shoe new or what (only 2 weeks old only), find bit hard.

Budget RM200 can can quite good shoe already, at least definitely got gel. Brand for this price, Asics, Victors, Yonex, yes, Li Ning, etc.

Off topic, found out got new badminton brand, everything oso got, racquet, shoe, shirts, socks, etc. Name Yone (yes, with the x), wording size, font, everything similar to Yonex. Logo, single Y, instead of double Y. Also, font, size, etc, very similar.

today go restring my yy mp66 , shopkeeper told me unable to get 22ibs above coz the upper part of my racket shows cracking edi. ended up use 21ibs.

I got one question, why those apacs racket can up to 30ibs while only for rm1xx
but yy racket rm7xx website suggest max also 27ibs.
does the apacs rm1xx frame really can up to 30ibs ?

hope i got some feedback. been playing badminton for year but never get the answer sweat.gif

can go for some Yonex entry level shoes. their entry level rackets might not be that good but their entry level shoes are quite okay. my yonex entry level shoe is still serving me good after around 9 months of usage. still in good condition despite me being quite heavy (85kg). still have good grip.

asics is also a good brand. their Gel series are around RM300 i think.

if already crack, time to get a new racket. even string at low tension, after few restringings, it will eventually break.

yes, apacs racket can really string up to 30lbs.
actually yonex rackets can go wayyyy beyond 27lbs. 27lbs is only a warranty for themselves.
my below RM100 apacs clone series had been strung at 28lbs for quite some while.
used for hard smashing. no crack what so ever.

it's a clone of Yonex's Nanospeed 9000-S. the specs are different i think
YY's NS series are head light. what about this Impact? 290 seems kinda head heavy.
RST should be the max string tension..cant figure what the R stands for
