not sure if apple HK will ship the phone to hotel...i've read about when buying in HK you can pay by cash and bank in directly to apple's account and they'll ship it to HK address. looks like a good news, still googling for more informations... sweat.gif

as i mention before in my previous post, there is no way for you to wlak into a retail apple shop to purchase the iphone.... walk-in is only available for subcribing to 3 HK iphone packages.....

to purchase online, u nid a hk-issued credit card and a hk delivery address...

if u wish to pay via bank transfer or cash deposit or cheque, then u nid call the apple hk tollfree to order the iphone...... online purchase is only for credit card....

not sure bout if they sending the package to hotel address..

i'm aware of that, after some readings on various forums and apple's website it seems that the only way to purchase is to phone order, then cash deposit and they'll ship it. what i worry is they don't have stock to ship and might not ship on time cause i only go there for less than a week...guess still have to pray hard or have friend over there to help out. sad.gif

After the pricing is the same as New Zealand. Should be a good buy.

head to S'pore some malls as some forumers suggested to grab the iPhone 3G without signing contracts... sure it will be more expensive though

Sorry for the late reply smile.gif

How I got it? Hehehe.

You will need to purchase it via HK Apple Online Store (no contract required). First of all, you will need to send it to a HK address (my friend is working there).

To my surprise, they accept Malaysia Citibank VISA credit card. It will take 1 working day to process the payment and the next day, it will ship the item. I purchased on Saturday and my friend got it on Tuesday since Saturday and Sunday is non-working day.

That's about it. Remember, different banks will have different exchange rates also different day smile.gif

Any more things you guys want to know? smile.gif

When you got your phone, just place your sim card and just activate it via iTunes. It will work fine! smile.gif

got mine from HK as well! Everything's fine.

A credit card with Malaysian address is just fine. Ordered mine using my local credit card, got it shipped to a HK address and whoala... the phone is yours!
