My friend in HK called Apple Store and says that it works in Malaysia.
The guy said someone from Singapore bought it and went back to Singapore and just insert the SIM card. It works! Now the only issue, I wonder do we need to use HK credit card to purchase via online. This post has been edited by eteractive: Sep 26 2008, 02:10 PM |

Applicable to only HK Apple Online Store.
You can ask them to send to any address which is located within Hong Kong This post has been edited by eteractive: Sep 26 2008, 05:55 PM |

Sorry for the late reply
How I got it? Hehehe. You will need to purchase it via HK Apple Online Store (no contract required). First of all, you will need to send it to a HK address (my friend is working there). To my surprise, they accept Malaysia Citibank VISA credit card. It will take 1 working day to process the payment and the next day, it will ship the item. I purchased on Saturday and my friend got it on Tuesday since Saturday and Sunday is non-working day. That's about it. Remember, different banks will have different exchange rates also different day Any more things you guys want to know? When you got your phone, just place your sim card and just activate it via iTunes. It will work fine! This post has been edited by eteractive: Oct 5 2008, 08:35 PM |
