da main concern is no WIFI.... if it does hav a WIFI, it will be a perfect phone...
well tis is always da phone manufacturer strategy... no perfect phone will be invented....

either this 1 for da camera or OMNIA for da WIFI... u choose...

is it a big difference with 5mp omnia with this 8mp pixon ?

lastly, is omnia laggy? i heard my fren say HTC diamond is better compare to Omnia

OS differences, camera MP different.

Omnia laggy in certain way, but becoz it is WinMo.. i dun feel that is a big issue. but camera isnt performing well at night shot thats for sure.

now samsung has gone wild with 8mp camera

not wild but taking every opportunity to get that piece of cake

if someone is more into taking photos rather than using their phone browse the net then buy this phone....

^ no such thing as perfect phone in general la. what we can say all-rounder phone. furthermore Pixon is out of the list for all rounder; more towards high end cameraphone

just came back from pcfair and the pixon is available at rm2232 or 2333 (don't remember it very well) the touch screen is better than F480

erm... singapore already available.. but for the price like that.. i think LG renoir have a upper hand on the price..

After all LG Renoir has the WIFI function and about the same imaging quality. It will debut this Christmas I believe, so first to market.

yeah... renoir will be release soon within this week or next week actually. and i thought the price would be cheaper for not having wifi.. i guess i am wrong then.

SRS

Saw the Samsung Pixon M8800 for real this time at today's PC Fair. Nothing special. Its actually a better Samsung F480/Tocco. Something I feel what the F480 should be in the first place. The widgets are smoother and more responsive. Generally the UI has been improved a lot. However, the springy effect and smoothness is no go compared to LG Renoir. I think the reviewers are correct, the LG Renoir is perhaps the most 'Apple' like when it comes to fluidity in the UI transitions and scrolling effect.

Imaging however is excellent. Colors stay true even in difficult conditions. The price however is slightly over the edge at RM2388. Probably the 'just launched' excuse.

RM2388? that is a steep pricetag... any words on the package? or special promotion to go with that RM2388?.. any extra memory, pouch, digital frame or special voucher?
