The market is how you get all your software from, it comprises of free and paid.

The owner took the free task manager out from the market and make a paid apps for advanced task manager. We can't see those paid apps ^^(

SUPER TIP

If any of u guys don't want to use the 3G/EDGE that is always connected in G1, there is this simple method to disable it.

Just go to Setting>Wireless Controls>Mobile networks>Access point Names>(select ur APN)Digi>APN>(delete 1 letter) ie:Diginet become Digine and then save.

Thats it, the EDGE/3G logo will disappear from top but u can still make calls.

If you need to use EDGE/3G just follow the instruction but add back the letter u deleted.

* works with DIGI, not sure about Maxis and Celcom

My unit have been unlocked when purchase, so I have no idea on this part.

However there are few seller on ebay selling unlocking service, you can try your luck over there ^^

Yes, we have to pay for any paid apps in the market. ^^
However the service is not available in this region yet as being filtered by Google.
We only can see those free apps in the market.

i have wifi at home and campus. plus even most of the mamak shops also offer free wifi now. so don't wan to spend extra RM30 on EDGE.

I wonder if the Penang government is going ahead with island wide free wifi project or not, if they do then it will be the best place to use this phone.lol
