its design is like that for a reason. Perhaps the earlier chip is too big for its function. Batteries are hard to find these days, ESPECIALLY HTC model.

woah, i tot G1 thread died a long time ago, good to see some people posting stuff. Im still using my G1, with all the new android fones out, i feel so outdated. gonna change my fone either end of the year or beginning next year when a super android fone with gingerbread 3.0 is released. droooooooooolllssss...

Guys - I have rooted my Dream to G1 previously (f/ware: 1.6, mod ver: CyanogenMod 4.2.7.1). If I want to try CM6 Froyo, what do I need to do? If it is too long to explain, can direct me to a good spot to read up on it?
