Around 3 minutes. The ROM is stable and clearly the best Eclair ROM so far. By the way Gallery3D is not included with Cyanogen5 stable, where did you get that?

Yeah. Agreed with above statement. So far there's no bug except when u are using advanced task manager. When u ended all process and then going back to home screen there's a slightly lagging. But its ok for me. Apart from that this rom is stable and smooth.

Yeah. Gallery3D is not included so I installed it seperately. Eventhough not recommended by certain ppl becoz of memory issue@maybe Gallery3D will lag..errr but for me it went so smoothly biggrin.gif

Don't hold your breath, so far Flash on G1 is worse than Flash on Mac OSX, but hopefully it would be resolved in the future. I think the main reason for us to anticipate Froyo is the speed improvements (JIT on Dalvik, JavaScript V8, etc.) rather than Flash. Heck, even Nexus One owners mostly prefer to have Flash turned off as it lags to hell as demonstrated in this video.

for eclair 2.1, how do u guys set a custom ring tone for each contact? I tried it by choosing one contact, click option and choose the desired ring tone. But it didn't work. How's the right way?

EDIT:
You know, I've used the default picker and tone picker, both of which are not working for custom ringtones. I'm just getting the default ringtone for everyone. Is this a problem for anyone else at all? Forgot to mention, I'm using 2.1 with Cyanogen5

Works here. I did this in order:

Open Contacts
View desired contact
Press Menu
Tap on Options
Tap on Ringtone
Change it

Done.

Try to reflash CM5, it should do the trick. Just remember to back up your things first.

thank you guys! the problem is solved.

by the way, what about this custom rom? It seems to be the ultimate complete eclair and based Off CM5.0.7 Stable. Here's the link:
