Hey peeps!, i just over at my friend's place.

And i noticed her Sidewinder X6's keys faded.. and she just bought her Sidewinder X6 few weeks ago.

Dam.. is it a bad batch or what..

Anyways, to make matter worse, she did sent back to the shop for rma.

A few days later, she said the shop that she bought from said "You can't claim warranty because its just fade keys, as the keyboard still working"...

Its there such thing?.. i mean few weeks only and the keys faded liaoz.. and yet can't claim warranty?.. wth...

Does anyone know the distro (contact number) or rma department for Sidewinder X6?..

At the same time i wanna find out too, as i myself using one and no keys faded so far.. *cross fingers*

I meant.. its a gaming keyboard... yet so easily fade wan..

...even Logitech does the warranty claiming for faded key (of course within warranty period), i think it's the shop... not the Microsoft.

mr.tomato, how ur fren's using it? how come faded so fast? even famous tarantula faded, but not as fast as that..., any idea how she use the keyboard?

I think it's bcoz of finger nail...U know la, girl tends to keep their long nail...

Yea, thats the thing, i know both Razer and Logitech does give new replacement for faded keys, of course within the warranty period.

Dunno woh.. worse case scenario will be.. she got sweaty hands?..

then probably long finger nails and hardcore usage..., cos fingernails will cost a lot faded keys on keyboard.. this is very common... since she got short nail, then i got no idea, even sweaty hands wont cos faded so fast...

My Microsoft Keyboard also faded darn fast. Quality problem?

got suggestion for cheap gaming keyboard?

coz my logitech G1 keyboard sux.... cannot even [>]+[^]+[E]+[D] while playing football game....

even my old acer keyboard ( Pentium 3 generation ) can push up to 6 keys at once....

is it coz my logitech is P/S 2 while my acer is USB ???

my keyboard T_T .. logitech G15, old one with blue light, have been using for like 6 years lol.. and mouse is Razer Lachassis, switched from Copperhead.. xD, is it any good??

Yup, for p/s 2 keyboard, u always can press more button at once...But usb keyboard cant do this...

err.... my p/s 2 keyboard is the logitech which only can press fewer button..... while the usb one can press more...

can consider Gigabyte keyboard, cheaper than Logitech.

ive found that my logitech ps/2 keyboard can only hit 4 keys at one time...

My logitech internet keyboard can hit 7 buttons no problem
