it is backlit, but just ony macro keys is lighten up, maybe u can try look out other keyboard if u wan backlit and gaming keyboard... and ur budget as well...

haha, if u don mind the laptop keys u can get lycosa mirror, but if u choose to get the normal lycosa i guess u shud get mirror instead due normal lycosa with rubber finish will lead the rubber peal off after some time usage... fading problem normally wont happen in backlit keyboard, since u ur budget so high, maybe u can consider G19 cos it is nice although it more than 400... or G15v2, it is not bad also.., and looks nice..

haha, lycosa mirror also same that kind of keys feel, for some ppl ntg, for some ppl was just hate it, see what type u are then... haha, G19 noody can confirm the exact price yet due havent launch.. G15v2 doesnt look nice huh.. haha, at first when i getting my tarantula i also feel so, when i start bored wit my tarantula now ony i feel g15v2 is interesting... and now im satisfied wit it cos it is the level of the tarantula as well, just the responce keys rate of course tarantula faster because the things they use to force it... maybe u shud look carefully first and make ur decision...

haha, yeah google more cos keyboard not much choice, im not loaded la... my tarantula start fading and i started bored when it is fading so i choose to sell it off and get something better..., at first im choosin between g15v2 and 7G, but then G19 is coming, so i decide to wait it come out first and decide later, while waiting i cannot stand without keyboard so i get a g15v2 to temporary use first, i think this temporary would sure get me use more than 6 months... because this keyboard is quite awesome also with the backlit and its feeling... i like 7G because of its performance not the looks, haha, i do hate the looks... so now i wait G19 out ony decide again G19 or 7G, so now i use this G15v2 first, ... well, if u don wan keep changing keyboard better make sure u get the right ones... if not end up like xiukeong 3 keyboard in a year, i just 2 ony...

1. G15v2 - Got bad batch. Backlight not bright. Lazy rma
2. Lycosa - Served me well but too tempted by the white backlit.

So end up now using Illu keyboard

yeah, macros is very useful when it comes to key in long command,codes and stuff. Some people bought gaming keyboard with many macro keys because they want to use it for gaming such as WoW. Try checking out Roccat Valo. It has 41 macro keys

eventually we still need to press alt if we're playing those old version of warcraft v1.21, which commonly played on garena sigh.

Yes haha it's priced at RM599 in the market. Have you guys ever thought of disassembling the keyboard and keep the gold pieces ? Will be definitely worth it if you're into gold investment

It's all about personal preferences and how much u willing to spend for peripherals.
perhaps once i try the good kb, i'll might like it

haha, now consider cheap lor compare last time... the gold plated is giving the responce faster, the another expensive part is from the mechanical keys switch... it give good pressing feel and durability... and many more la, lazy type... mr.google would help u if u  wanna know..  

open up the keyboard and change the led...but that will void the warranty right??? mod it after the warrant y expired haha
