Yesterday i saw a few of G15v2 at ALLIT in IKANO selling rm289 i think, definately not rm300++..lol

SriComp, at times the pricetag saje put there nia, once u tell them other shops selling lower price, they might just match it.. heh.. as i tried before wink.gif

And i noticed lately quite a few (kinda) new Logitech keyboards have lcd on it, just that it doesnt have backlight.

Cheers biggrin.gif

anyone saw any shop selling ocz elixir for less than 149?
SRP is USD29.99 but so far I've only seen shops selling for 149 or more
*
It looks like Logitech S510 or Razer Tarantula..

Anyways, its like Razer Lycosa's keys... as it has rubberized keys... which its "no-go" as normally it can be become sticky and wears out easily esp. in our humid country tongue.gif

How abt Everglide DKTboard Professional Gaming Keyboard?.. rm235 which comes with DKT mousepad which valued at around rm70.

What you guys think about the size of the sidewinder x6? the wrist rest really lengthens the length which i only have 22 cm of space and i travel alot to lan parties etc etc.

And about the shop....
*
Imo, when lan-party comes into mind.. im thinking of Everglide DKT keyboard, pretty good price considering it bundled with DKT mousemat for more or less rm250.

*
Hmmmz... i tot Microsoft Sidewinder X6 has the most macro keys, considering the whole numpad can be macro'nized(?).

G15 got 18 G Keys, times M1, M2 and M3,
so, there is 54 macro keys for you...

unless you there the one that all the key can be reassign,
I means the ASWD all the alphabertical key tat could assign macro,
then only you will have more macro keys than G15.
*
If not mistaken, Sidewinder X6 has 27 macro-keys times 3 (profile 1,2,3) plus another extra profile for the main macro-keys which additional 6 macro-keys.

So, thats total of 86 macro-keys for you there wink.gif

Oh yeah, for those who r new to gaming keyboard:
Steelseries 7g > logitech g15v2 > razer tarantula > microsoft sidewinder x6

Design is the same, just that acrtosa doesn't come with backlight, no usb or audio jacks. And arctosa doesn't have the rubber coated keys. And most people here will say that arctosa has bad QC compared to the lycosa. This I cannot confirm.
*
So far i heard its not abt QualityControl, its abt Quality itself... its like their are using cheaper materials for Arctosa compared to Lycosa.

Afaik in Razer thread, its like best to avoid Arctosa, budget gamer get either DKT (slightly cost more due comes with mousemat) or OCZ.

btw, any g15v2 and sidewinder x6 combo users here? is x6 really worth to buy? i own g15v2 b4, and maybe wanna buy other brand this time.. smile.gif
*
It depends what functions are u into... btw, what keyboard currently ur using now?..

Imo, if ur referring to price=performance, i'll say g15 more worth it.

If price isn't yer concern, and u don't use lcd on the keyboard at all, imo SidewinderX6 its great, feels much more solid than g15.

SidewinderX6 keys are very visible even with the backlight turned-off, and when the backlights turned-on its looks "ganas" and of course bright with its intense red lights.

the backlight of coz...and the macro keys...G15v1 got more macro keys...

In other words G15v1 its much better than G15v2.. not to mention v1 has larger lcd screen.. wink.gif

By think of it, izzit juz me or G15v1 its like the only keyboard that actually price increased, and good 2nd hand value.

erm i still doubting on this, g15v1 backlit is orange right, then g15v2 is it blue?
*
Its the other way around.

G15v1 = blue-backlights

G15v2 = orange-backlights

QUOTE(david9 @ Apr 27 2009, 08:32 PM)
emmm

then G15V1 AND G15V2 selling in different price rite ?are both of them cost more than rm300 ?
*
G15v1 stop production (EOL) pretty much ages ago, as replaced by G15v2.

I don't think u can find it in KL anymore..

As for the price, G15v1 initially selling at rm285, but now shops selling it up to rm330 or more.

Wherelse G15v2 seems dropped price liaoz which selling at rm255.

If u reffering to G19's backlight, it practically has all colors (combination of RGB colors) which u can choose its colors thru its controlpanel.

Ya i tot it was around RM300, but once i go to their official web I found out that it is 199.90 USD LOLS. But the design is nicely done n the backlight is choose able. But y do the keyboard nid a AC adapter? WHY? N it don even hv any headphone or usb port.... These might make me think with this kind of price it ain't wroth... Sry G19 fan boy.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Same here, i didn't really expected to be so high priced.. i tot will be around rm300 - 399...

And abt the AC adapter, previous post oredi mention abt it liaoz.

Its to power up the LCD (since full-color lcd need more 'juice' to power up compared to monochrome ones), and at the same time power up the USB 2.0 ports, which finally a keyboard that has proper USB 2.0 Full-Speed ports built-in.

Not to mention its rm100bucks cheaper than SS 7G.

even the gigabyte mechanical keyboard is 100 bucks cheaper than 7G, but seems no one getting it though... whistling.gif
*
Yea hor.. but if not mistaken Raptor released their 'mechanical/cherry keys gaming keyboard' much earlier (i think 2005) than SS 6G (2007).

I guess one of the reason that Raptor brand isn't as big as SS.

Other than that, I gotta say.. if im getting those 'mechanical / cherry keys' gaming keyboard, and according it features, its like Gigabyte has the best features.

Kinda cool that it has built-in soundcard in their keyboard, especially for those using onboard soundcards.

I guess the keyboard looks too "ah beng" liaoz?.. since so many colors in one keyboard.. tongue.gif
