I've read a lot about problems happening when you try to do that.cucuk @ keyboard coz lazy to cucuk @ pc....hahahaha! |

QUOTE(mois @ Oct 3 2008, 08:40 PM) actually ppl are clueless when choosing g15 and tarantula. Both got it cons and pros de. interesting. do you have facts for that? But usually a pro gamer choose tarantula because it have fast response time and excellent typing feeling. A normal game will choose g15, because g15 have a lot micros, backlighting and LCD which make the keyboard cooler than tarantula. i am not a pro gamer but tarantula has lots of problems reported that's why i chose the G15 the first place. lol... and you dont really need response time for keyboards as it does nothing really. and laptop style slim keyboard is not really for hardcore springy feel keyboard gamers if you know what i mean. read for fun This post has been edited by SpikeTwo: Oct 6 2008, 11:33 PM |

razer has announced the new keyboard.
arctosa. basically the lycosa without backlighting...priced USD30 cheaper than lycosa...so should be somewhere around RM170-180... when its available...i dunno yet...so keep referring to the razer thread |

I know. But G15 is quite bulky in terms of size compared to lycosa.

QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Oct 7 2008, 12:18 AM) interesting. do you have facts for that? I have the facts before posting something dude. Cons of tarantula, keys will fade, doesnt work on bios. i am not a pro gamer but tarantula has lots of problems reported that's why i chose the G15 the first place. lol... and you dont really need response time for keyboards as it does nothing really. and laptop style slim keyboard is not really for hardcore springy feel keyboard gamers if you know what i mean. read for fun Its funny to hear u said that response time for keyboards does nothing. Try steelseries 7g, u will feel it have much faster response than g15. And who the pro gamer use a g15? normal gamer does. But im not a pro gamer as well. Just personal preference. |

response time isnt that important.
normal keyboard response is good enough. to me, its the key travel thats more important. |

Cons of tarantula, keys will fade, doesnt work on bios. well, i was hoping u share some facts or shed some lights. any source? will be very much appreciated. it is interesting to see what progamers have in their arsenal. don't get me wrong here. i don't know what progamers use. i guess progamers don't need gaming keyboards. because pro gamers existed long before gaming keyboards? ... Just personal preference. welp, if it indeed have that faster response time, it is only good for fast moving combo games like UT series and sorts. lol...other than those, most FPS do not gain much extra advantage (i won't say none) compared to having a good mouse. last time i was reading the tarantula reviews (a lot!) prior to purchase my keyboard, i didnt see anyone really performed keyboard response time comparison. other than mere highlighting the features. maybe there's an updated review or something. mind to share some links? or maybe the faster feeling is due to the shorter key strokes need to to hit the bottom unlike the G15. |

(which basically, u r wrong) g15, good for games that require more macro keys (mmorpg, strategy), but for fps, just plain normal.. welp, if it indeed have that faster response time, it is only good for fast moving combo games like UT series and sorts. lol...other than those, most FPS do not gain much extra advantage (i won't say none) compared to having a good mouse. last time i was reading the tarantula reviews (a lot!) prior to purchase my keyboard, i didnt see anyone really performed keyboard response time comparison. other than mere highlighting the features. maybe there's an updated review or something. mind to share some links? or maybe the faster feeling is due to the shorter key strokes need to to hit the bottom unlike the G15. |
