QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Oct 8 2008, 12:34 AM) well, i was hoping u share some facts or shed some lights. any source? will be very much appreciated. it is interesting to see what progamers have in their arsenal. don't get me wrong here. i don't know what progamers use. i guess progamers don't need gaming keyboards. because pro gamers existed long before gaming keyboards? ... i think most gaming keyboard buyers are normal gamers. unless there's a gaming device sponsor in the event, so you see they get all their equipments by a single brand or two. something like that. welp, if it indeed have that faster response time, it is only good for fast moving combo games like UT series and sorts. lol...other than those, most FPS do not gain much extra advantage (i won't say none) compared to having a good mouse. last time i was reading the tarantula reviews (a lot!) prior to purchase my keyboard, i didnt see anyone really performed keyboard response time comparison. other than mere highlighting the features. maybe there's an updated review or something. mind to share some links? or maybe the faster feeling is due to the shorter key strokes need to to hit the bottom unlike the G15. erm, i think ur wrong there.. fast response time does have an impact during gaing especially for fps games.. and mois is right, most pro gamers use tarantula keyboard as their keyboard during a tourney except for those steelseries sponsored clan which they used the super expensive 7G keyboard.... (which basically, u r wrong) g15, good for games that require more macro keys (mmorpg, strategy), but for fps, just plain normal..

What's wrong with keyboards not supporting max more than 7 keys pressed? mind to tell me which games using more than that?

what i meant was 7 keys. i'm curious what games require 7 keys pressed at the same time? i dont think fps needs more than 7 keys, probably 5 keys max pressed simultaneously. Therefore, the max keys can be pressed at the same time should not be in the criteria of choosing a descent keyboard.

What's the bug u mean, psychodize? Based on other's experience, Sidewinder x6 really is a good k/b, some even said better than g15.

Steelseries 7G got better 'feel' compared to other k/bs.. But it produces louder sound when pressed, not sure it's for the better or for the worse.. G15v2 quite nice i must say, my only complain is u need to push the keys deeper.. very soft (good for typing) keys.. But the LCD only to show off, actually not really that useful.. G15v2 vs 7G, which one is better? My vote will be on G15 but not by much.. 7G feels better but that doesnt justify it's fckn high price.
