Can anyone currently using the GPRS or EDGE tell what is the ping? You know, the 100ms thingy. Go to speedtest.net to check it. Thanks.

The ping is high, sometimes it is as high as 600 but recently DiGi is doing upgrade for this and it has reduced about half for the latency.

@snowdrop: You need to tell them because there is not much things you can do if you cannot subscribe for GPRS.

dont care much.. as long as i can surf all day long.. connection speed is some times better than those 3g.. stable.. constant..reliable..cheap..

my GPRS is fixed, but I haven't started using it because I don't want to waste RM30 for 3 days

today is the first of June, so marks the day I'm gonna start officially using the plan
a bit paranoid that they make charge me extra for GPRS usage though, because the guy who sold me the simpack was like

so ur balance is still rm30? check ur validity 1st? make sure it rm30 or more inside and the validy is till july. rm 30 will be deducted straight b4 u can enjoy an unlimited Internet access.

my balance was RM49.xx before June cos I reloaded in May,
validity is until 28/06/2009 and current credit is RM19.09.

have u start surfing ever since the last rm49? when did the deduction happen? if it happen on 12.01 1/6/2009 then u r activated for free surfing for june..

yup i started surfing yday non stop to test and see how far down the credit will go. so far my credit still at RM19 now heh

i m really piss with digi nowadays.. they ripped me off again.. my freebies that is worth rm130+ is gone . this is wat i dont like bout the new system where ur bonus is not in ur main balance.. checking the balance in freebies is damn hard.. suddenly jus i go check .. rm130+ is gone from my freebies.. shit.. the only thing i use on this d'campus no. is internet..

Added on June 2, 2009, 5:48 pmdamn now i m pissed becos DCS said tat they will deduct from the freebies balance 1st b4 deduct from the main balance. and the stupid thing is tat deducting from freebies, they said they dont have max capped system and they will happily deduct till u run dried.. then only when the main balance is touch the max capped thinggy come into play.. so i am so not satisfied with the term and condition currently.. is there anyway for me to log a complaint

Reload bonus from the previous 4 month and birthday bonus.. But it is a stupid system. As if u plan to use it for internet . All ur freebies must be use up 1st ,if not digi jus gonna sucks u dried..

yes, under current freebies system. there is no capped system. the bug is only applied to internet usage. as our d'campus internet is capped at rm30 permonth for internet, if v spend on our main balance, if ur freebies balance contain balance, it will be deducted 1st till empty then jus ur capped system for internet will work. but for calls and sms the freebies is working fine. u got lucky as ur birthday bonus was on march , tat time digi still havent migrate to their new system. the migration start on early may. which state any bonus or credit from digi will be credited into freebies and not main balance.

i m ok with the freebies stuff. but saying ur freebies balance dont hav capped system and deducting all my freebies balance jus for the sake to use my credit in my main balance so tat the capped system work is jus injustice

now even refund for overcharge takes ages
