eventualy do u have frens at other local Unis?u can ask them to register a new DC simcard for u but under their names since they don plan to use 1..but u must swear to them that u wont do anything bad with that number.haha.

max rm30 for data plan is juz a guideline.i tried twice, they deduct me less than rm25.1st time around rm21, second time around rm23..

uniten consider outside our UPM campus zone.so, no signal for DC there.but i think they will move there soon kua..hopefuly.

the simpack will automatically change back to the fuhyoo/beyong plan after ur study period ends (its stated on the form u fill in when applying DC..and the period depends on how long YOU write).U can convert it back using the options in *128#.

u can call over to the service operator and ask whether DiGi is heading ur Uni or not.they will answer u..juz say:the road show in UPM says that they will go to selected Local Unis..is Uniten in the list?

u will need:
1. ur student card(might or might not be active, as im studying masters, masters got a different student card, but i apply using my bachelor student card.wahahaha)
2. ur IC (only malaysians can apply)
3. an active DiGi line or a new DiGi number

my advice is:
it is always better for u to register a new number for this plan even if u got an existing DiGi line..y?coz u might regret after u walk out from the campus region.tarrif rate are different when inside and outside the campus..

il like to amend the statement.as it is written in the charge rate that they charge rm30 per month..but from my 3 months monitoring..they only deduct rm25 each month..erm..still a bug living in the plan.at least its still meaningful as we pay less than it shud be.

maybe its better to let it be stated like wat they offered.but eventually all my frens around me are only charged at that rate max..erm..few month already and thats wat we are charged for.so far so good for a bug.hahaha!!!

depends wat feature u plan to use for the D'campus plan.if u plan to use it as voice calls, then u will need juz a spare hp..but if as data trasnfer, u need a modem hp..

lemme answer u, my fren.
surf for free is juz a package.they include the hp for u with the plan.from comparison: normal DC sim plan with payment rm30 every month is some how cheaper than the surf4free package.ok, regard ur question:no matter when u start ur data plan..they count from 1st day of the month to the last day of that month.

Eg: start-1November2008, End-30November2008

FYI, if ur having the normal DC plan, it can act as data plan sim as well..juz make sure u got rm30.01 in ur account and start surfing till they send a notification sms about the data plan of the month is FREE. from my experience:they dont realy deduct rm30 from the account. sometimes rm25, sometime rm26 and sometime rm20..and they start counting on the day u start using edge in that particular month.not activation period.

even if u start using it during mid of the month, it still ends at the end of the month.

Eg: start-21November2008, End-30November2008

to reach rm30, within 10min is sufficient.only surf lowyat.NET nia..thats wat i did..because they count in 10kb blocks..easy easy capai rm10 liaw..

DC data plan download speed is 18kb/sec(1 download), 13kb/sec(2downloads) and 9~10kb/sec(3downloads)..the 4th download will be idle till one of the download finished.so..if ur comparing with streamyx or broadband..it will be deadly slow.However im still happy with it as it does not have disconnection problem.only sumhow when cache holds too high, it will go idle, so u need to detach the hp and reconnect back to clear cache..

juz try edge for a month and u will noe its more than enuf liaw..but for a mod like u, i think broadband is better as u need to monitor more than 1 window.haha.my max tabbing is about 10 windows under 1 screen..loading fine.only those with photos and picture arent loaded perfectly..

digi broadband?since when?its edge la..to get started with edge by ur hp, u can google for answers everywhere..even the official digi website provide tutorial to start off with edge for 1st timers.

there is still some unknown reasons y ppl still choose to have hotlink instead of digi to be there primary line.dun ask me y, but yeah, im one of them as well.

hotlink makes e got a few of higher level.it make me feel the system is more stable than others, more reliable, more classy.so thats y i din change.by now, i got more hotlink frens than digi frens.even tey have digi, doesnt mean that they dun have hotlink.so dual simcards is kinda normal now at my place.i got 3 simcards wif me.hotlink primary, digi data plan and happy chat plan.
