*
You need to call CS to activate 3G on your DiGi Campus SIM card, else you won't receive 3G signal despite in the coverage.

but the unlimited internet D'Campus is EDGE speed right??
not 3G right??
*
Once you activate your 3G, then it is unlimited 3G.

QUOTE(genyo @ Nov 7 2009, 11:26 AM)
i active my 3G in D'chat.
only took me 2minutes total, really thumb up.

after the operator said will active my 3G in fewty minutes, i direct restart my phone and get the 3G instantly LOL.
all work done in 5minutes
*
Yeah, that's possible as well.
But I called them, once I hung up. Plug in the SIM card to my modem and it is already activated. rclxms.gif

i juz graduated....sadly....cant use Campus plan, but how can i get a Fresh grad plan?

thanks!
*
You must be a DiGi Campus user previously in order for you to get Fresh Grad plan. Additionally FG plan is not applicable to all DiGi Campus users, only selected ones. How do they select? I'm not sure based on what criteria or it could be randomly.

how's the speed??
can use p2p and rapidshare??
*
EDGE speed is nothing to brag about, 220kbps.
P2P is blocked. It is using shared IP thus Rapidshare is a bit difficult to use.

I use other direct download hosts, those not as famous as Rapidshare and Megaupload.

Yeah, PPStrem is kinda blocked. laugh.gif
Torrent is not blocked but I find it much slower compared to direct download. biggrin.gif

How to know whether or not my simcard can support 3G ? I checked the simcard, its a 64k chip.
*
64K SIM card is sufficient for DiGi 3G and 3.5G. smile.gif

Actually does the Simcard matters? I thought it's only for storage space?
*
I'm not sure but you can't be expecting 16K to connect to 3G right? hmm.gif

Not at my area, everything is quite fast, 400kbps and above. smile.gif

Direct download fetches around 50kBps. I'm contented for only RM 30 I pay monthly, what else can I ask for more?

No FUP is applied for DiGi Campus (hopefully). rclxms.gif

Compared to RM 68 when I subscribed for Celcom D68 previously, this is much better than that. biggrin.gif

Well, I don't think so because I have already downloaded more than 3GB. Considering we are previous EDGE customers, they do not implement any FUP on EDGE customers... So, hopefully it is no limit for us too...

i wana ask somethin bout the Dcampus plan. sorry i haven been following this thread in a long time. wondering is there any new updates in which we may convert from normal digi plan to this? is it possible to call the CS or via OCS to change to Dcampus?
*
No, not possible.
You have to go to DiGi Centre to do it and not all centres do that. You have to ask those who successfully changed their plan to share their experience with you. smile.gif

I didn't expect this to happen in Kota Belud. hmm.gif

Kinda ironic when KK already has HSDPA and your area still stuck with GPRS. sweat.gif

0.3Mbps = 300kbps
1B = 8b
300kbps/8 = 37.5kB
