QUOTE(jtcs87 @ Nov 23 2009, 10:02 AM) Around RM 200. No, can use it anywhere.Anyway, any unlocked HSDPA modem is usable. You might able to find cheaper and better bargain in http://forum.lowyat.net/NetworkingRelatedItems This post has been edited by fruitie: Nov 23 2009, 10:05 AM |

QUOTE(singdreams @ Nov 23 2009, 11:21 PM) Cheaper yet better alternative compared to buying a phone. It is better for those heavy Internet users as long hour usage on phone will eventually drain the battery and spoil the IC. IC costs a lot if it is spoilt. My modem emits better heat compared to other modems and phones, that's why I still stick to it. An old model that has no thumbdrive capability, just a dedicated HSDPA modem. |

Well, if you register for any DiGi broadband plan, regardless Students Plan or anything will have fair usage policy applied.
Like most of us here were DiGi EDGE users (before DiGi introduced 3G, everyone was on EDGE and EDGE has no limit even until today), after we activated our 3G then it is also calculated as no limit (same like EDGE). Until today I have downloaded more than 20GB via my DiGi 3G and still standing strong. |

QUOTE(HSLimMic @ Nov 27 2009, 08:48 AM) Erm I just signed up with te Digi Campus Plan yesterday. I have several questions need to clarify although the first post is quite clear.. 1) Probably will revert back to normal prepaid plan.1) Im graduating in this coming December. Does that means that my Digi Campus plan will be terminated? 2) How is the DiGi Wap charges? Sometimes when my phone turn on the WAP and i check my current balance. The amount left is different from normal 3g line.. For example, when my digi is on 3g line, when I check the current balance it stated: rm10. Then when my line changed to Wap, i check the current balance it appears: RM 4..44. What this means? 3)Lastly, is there away for me to set so that my phone will never use the DiGi WAP? Thank you in advance to those that will be replying on my long questions. Regards, 2) WAP is using GPRS, but for DiGi Campus you can use it for RM 30 and it will be free for the entire month. 3) If you don't turn it on then it will not be connected. No? |

QUOTE(lancer193 @ Nov 27 2009, 06:43 PM) halo..im currently a secondary school student now Sorry, you can't buy DiGi Campus SIM card when you are still schooling in secondary school. is there any chances for me to register to digi campus plan? can i just buy a new sim pack at the designated DiGi dealers? No, you can't buy too because they need your student card. So, just ask help from your relatives or friends to borrow their student card to buy. Only selected universities and colleges are eligible for purchase. |

QUOTE(boxer07 @ Nov 27 2009, 11:22 PM) i think i gonna subscribe digi campus discover plan using my gf student card and ic .. use for a month , terminate it and buy the modem ... As far as I know there is no DiGi Campus Discover Plan. It is DiGi Student Broadband Plan. It is not under DiGi Campus, hope you are aware of this. Rm58+ (11months*Rm15)-Rm5 (direct debit)= Rm218 (1month usage + 1modem) Local Set Huawei E160E selling for RM199 , but i pay another RM19 to get 1month broadband . not going to subscribe for longterm as i will be using when outstation |

QUOTE(singdreams @ Dec 5 2009, 12:51 PM) Not really, DiGi gives you 3 days before, after and on your exact birthday date. So even if you feel of topping up earlier or have missed it, you still have chance after that! Can reload up to RM 500.00 and get RM 250 birthday bonus. In short you can use around 7 days to reload RM 500.00 if you want. |
