And there are quite a numbers of my friends also believe...

Wow this thread is interesting. And yea I notice also alot of ppl believe in thai God and amulets.

Guys, have u guys wonder why some praying session is held indoor? As in a big room inside a house and must be close door? I've been into one as my mother bring be there when I was young. Whatever u do u cant share with anyone. Just bring them to the house.

Well what I can say is, is not any form of ajaran sesat. Is still look one of those Buddha God. But is a very long thing and I cant remember much about it.

I am new to the thai god amulets...but now i am wearing 2 jatukam and one khun paen....

How can we diff between those genuine amulets and fake amulets? Is there a way that we can learn so is not cheated by dealers?

By the way, did anyone hear about Lang Sa Kan before?

Better avoid worshiping Guman Tong because when the baby spirit grows, it will play with your wife instead. That what I heard from someone experienced. Anyway, it is difficult to find a genuine GMT, as most found in the market just a statue without a spirit.

If anyone is interested you all should try the one in OUG......is a house but worshipping Thai God....and apparently they are selling good amulets there...
-
hello wingky,
do you mean the one at happy garden nearby is uphill with shoplots and have a big phra phrom(4 face god)?
havent been there before.but will check out..

hello kennix,
hk super stars like to goto wat bai lung wang, from what i heard, you have to wakeup before dawn to see the "sifu" there, and gotta beratur & everybody wears white as a respect to the temple....heard alot of superstars like to go there for fortune telling,eg tony leung go and ask if he will earn alot from internal affairs(before it was shot) and the sifu predicted its gonna be a major hit..

hello prince hamsap..good to hear you have lp ka long stuff...keep it good..
i recons that if you really wish to pray to GMT..and wanna put it in your room, try not to put in a way that your feet/edge of your bed is pointing directly at them...another thing is dont put them together with deity or under the stairs..they must be worshipped on the ground...if you have toaism god like kwan kung etc...gotta beware abit..else you will keep complaining that you cant "feel" your GMT..

hello -GILA-,
er...i believe they are not called praying sessions...more of exoism or change luck...maybe you can share minor details for us to know..

wingky..
welcome aboard the ship...we are all newbie.. as for me i am wearing JTK chalomphraket(princess batch, you can see the amulet from previous entries in this thread..)..Por Tan Khai/Luang por kai known as the golden mouth monk..back is ganesha(elephant god)..this amuelt is for wealth fetching and cast away evil spirit..and a phra opakut(a buddha image head sideways looking up on the sky like helping you pray and holding a monk's bowl..

er...for us to differ between geniune and fake will take years of experience..as in looking at minor details of the amulets, understanding how it is made.what material it was made.and buying some batu(fake) from wat tio kan(temple of kena cheated..hehe)..normally even high end fakes with special codes and phims will have its "selling" point,so that those who made it will known how to tell..eg..maybe you have everything correct from the code to the material and the smell, but maybe inside the eye will have an extra minor line that only can be viewed with using 10X loupe...dont trust the magazine..just use it as reference as sometimes magazines also will kena from wat tio kan..eg..because magazines operators cannot afford to rent every single high end amulets,so they will "borrow" it from their close members..maybe the members kena from a high end fake..or sometimes the stories they put there got add more soy sauce or pepper..like how some pc hardware mags spice up the new ATI AGP's core ..etcetc brows.gif we will learn when we get cheated by dealers or sometimes its not dealers that cheat us it is the upperhand that cheat us..its the story of we will not learn how to walk if we dont fall like a drunken man..but rest assured..wear it with faith and believe in the amuelts you have and not forgetting doing good deeds ..because when we rent we rent it with faith..the karma will not effect us(but if you feel uneasy or bad luck..maybe you can stop wearing it and bring it to temple for prayers or maybe you are really not suitable for that certain amulets),it is the dealers or their upper hand that will fall into karma..sometimes you hear stories that wearing certain amulets will kena possed, well maybe the amulets was printed from the factory, and sold straight to dealers...and maybe the dealers place got alot of "barang" for rent, and maybe the barang decide to stay in the amulets instead of their "home" and without the proper mantra the barang become mischief and posses you..the best if you wanna get from dealer shop, bring it to temple and let the monk do a simple prayers to cleanse the amulet...
as for me..i can say i also kena batu from wat tio kan before also..lucky for me i just kena 1 instead of the many i've rented in bangkok..so its a never ending lesson for us..

hellooo wishb0ne again...
we cannot stop people from worshipping, because it is their fate, not ours, but ofcourse if karma comes back for their prepayment,it will be 100X more... give you a good example..
a businessmen business is good, got a good wife, kids and house cars etc...but however his side line work is maybe exporting poor girls out to middle east..however karma struck.. wife and kids left him once they found out what his side line work is..house and cars and liquid asset got frozen and have a major court case.. so he was down and out, went to thailand search for arjan and got some KMT back..do the proper prayers and yantra.. wish for wife/kids to come back, and win the court case.. if his wish came true he say he willing shorten his life for 10yrs..indeed his wish came true..back to happy family again...however he got greedy...decided to jalan back his old side line.."taste" every girl before they are exported out, and even keep 10 more as mistress at his own pleasure...with the powerful GMT he thought he is invicible,so he went on and cheat his associates and friends..however as time goes on..his good luck has come to the end.. his wife/kids left him again..friends and associates found out and chopped off both his hands..and his house and cars are re-financed back to the bank...everybody hated him to the max and everynite he dreams that GMT is sucking his life out of him...
morale of the story is..becareful what you wish for when it comes to barang..and dont be greedy .
i also find that dealers like to tell out the selling point, like how good and jalan their GMT is..but they however never told us about the backfire cases..i'm lucky that one of the dealers..or should i say became my friend told me the honest truth about barangs, the reason they are made..and their original purpose, and hinting me to stay away from barang in a good way..but i told him that i have no intrest in barang but just wanna gain more knowledge..he is happy about it also..
wishb0ne,what you say its true...it is not difficult to find a TRUE GMT..it is IMPOSSIBLE to find..because thai law forbid it..and monks arnt going to risk their monkrobe for it unless you look for forest monk and actually be there to witness it yourself..rather than dealers telling you saucy stories..
what we see that are on rent in the temples or dealers with proper bucha of KMT is not bucha with no spirit inside..maybe there is..we dont know..but it is not the actual GMT.maybe it is made from clay, with hairs or certain body parts..with the arjan proper yantra..to make it jalan..it is also the story of have faith in your barang.your barang will protect you....

hope wont bore anyone with this long reply.. thumbup.gif

hello wingky,
err havent been to that before... tongue.gif maybe one day we convoy pigi sana loo...hehee...
nice amulets you are wearing..

er depends on individual..some ppl will just say buy and sell, some will say rent, some will say chao..etcetc..but its all the same..no pantang,as long as you respect the amulets you got, your parents, respect every religion, its all that matters..

i think the standing one is called leela..and the monk 1.hard to tell coz my major is not until monk rians...,i have only 2 rians..1 is lp soon tuk and another is tong sam ,must ask my thai collegue.

edwin88...
i believe its phra pidta..or pidta pagawan....normally ppl will relate pidta to fighting..or easy raise temper...but i believe that if the pidta is chanted uncorrectly or havent been chant by monk before.might cause this issues..a geniune pidta will protect us from danger, rather than getting us into danger..one of my friend use to have pidta during the schooldays gangs here gangs there..have tried walking away pass enemy headsdown and enemy no see him.power of pidta..lotsa underworld figures praise to pidta and for loansharkers likes to pray to chuchok..

Those amulet purchased from shop still need to chant or bless again by local Thai temple? Nearest in KL is Jalan Pahang there.

It is better to wear multiple type of amulets to have more effect? How about those dealer in shop selling all kind of amulets? The owner should be extremely rich and powerful tongue.gif

wishbone,
its up to your preferences actually..i am just saying maybe you dont feel comfortable with the recently rented amulets because got barang etc..you can go chant, theory is that..if the amulet is really from temple, mass chanted,it doesnt need to be chanted again...letting lp chant again is just a relief to yourself..eg..you are wearing a leelaa, maybe the monk is not well versed with leelaa's yant...and he dont want to offend you,so he will just chant something just to make you feel better...there is this certain percentage that we need to acknowledge..unless u offer you amulet to the monk and he admires and goes like oo nice amulet and so and so...

wearing multple type of amulets ah...er...its actually matter of our heart and karma we have...if we go rob,rape,kill,cheat,disrespect...we wear so much amulets that all the amulets covers our whole neck also tak jalan,as karma comes, lord buddha also must give way..some people feel they have more "yuen" with a few type of amulets,so mah wear few types loh.some prefer one..so mah just wear one, there is this theory is that...imagine one amulet is one person..if you wear 3 amulets, its like having 3 people telling you to do 3 different things at one time....unless u can differs . like 1 is for danger, one is for smooth sailing, another is to keep evil out..for me...JTK is for metta and smooth sailing in work...luang phor khai..is for ward off evil spirit..back ganesha is for wealth fetching...phra opakut is for the things i wish for... different amulet for different purpose, the objective is not to bang common interest with each other..hehe.you can always try.wear 3 and see how do you feel, wear 1,how do you feel, wear all your collection eg 100 pieces..how do you feel..its really own preferences really..some people i know wear up to 20 amulets..and in their carry bags still got more...some i know wear only 1...and there are some who dont even wear anything at all and just pray by heart...
if the more we wear = the more extremely rich and powerful we are..if we apply this rule... bgates and sjobs will be wearing so much amulets that we can only see their amulets, not them..
being rich and powerful will reflect on our karma, luck and if we are ever fated to be rich and powerful...
wearing amulets is just to assist if our luck comes or give sense to us if there is danger..if we are fated to be rich, our wealth will come naturally..
wearing barangs is just to push our luck even harder,by force..(no offence to those bros that like barangs)
wearing amulets/barangs...sakyants..etc..doesnt mean we dont need to work hard,in fact we should even work harder and have extra confidence in the work we are doing... rclxm9.gif
hmmm lets put it this way, respect amulets/buddha/religon the way we respect our parents..if we trust our amulets is like trusting our parents the things that they have confidence in us doing.they will support us fully..
hope this helps..... thumbup.gif

er,there are alot of ways to tell.
the best way is to wear just that(one) amulet with faith,if you can feel it,most likely it suits you and its real, else if it doesnt suit you,and it is also real, deep down, will you still wear it..?
alot of people will just say bring to the pros and look, well i think that sometimes pros will have slight glitch also.if not just chow when the actual ceremony and seeing the monk pass it to you, that way is 101% real.hehe..
there are some codes, phims and the actual arch. amulet to look at,if can take the photo at macro, just leave its resolution uneditted, send to pros to see..if you want, can send to me,i can help you ask around...normally dealers will ask you, where you get it from and how much you rented, for my cases,no need to tell me..
