how is the GPS performance so far on touch 3G? lag when use inside the car when driving??

u can get fix within 1minute. no Lag at all.

guys im starting to face problems that the rom is unstable


1st is that i may be in whatever application (messaging or settings or whatever) i never press close but it just closes on me

2nd: it's quite often "tap screen to launch touchflo2d" appears on my screen. and i need to tap it to launch it

man i really need a new rom now

The problem I face was in the afternoon, i was taking my dog photo and I don't like that image and go to delete it and the whole thing is like hang. I have to actually remove the battery to restart the phone. Is this normal? Just got the phone yesterday.

just go to contacts.. select which person.. then edit it

I just get the HTC touch 3g yesterday and I'm facing some problem now.. seems like it hang easily and need to be reset. Is this normal? This is my 1st PDA. Please help.

Need help on phone alarm, i found it on the website and it cost me about 14.5pound. Anyone know where else can I get this?

Added on December 14, 2008, 11:34 pmOh yeah, just solved the ringtone problem coz I save it in my storage place and didn't change the regedit there. What I did just press on the song that I want and set it as my ringtone and it will automatically copy it to my document \ringtone there. as for sms only can support wav format? any other way we can use others? Please teach

sms sounds go to settings-> sounds and notification and change it there...mp3 files can be used


i havent suffered any hang or problems that need resetting yet

Hi to all, im a newbie too for PDA. Just got mine a T3G today at PC Fair.

I have some questions need to ask:
1. how come i cant get the gps fix?
2. how to set the sms to use the phone/memory card memory rather than the sim card memory?

1. What GPS software you using?
2. it will actually read both phone memory and sim card together, if you want to use either one, you need to use Advance Configuration Tool, search this thread the link is somewhere is this thread

1. I'm using mapking which pre-install by the seller.
2. I did follow this thread for quite some time, thanks for letting me know that in the previous post had such solution.

even though save in memory card should be fine ma... but i myself put it at Sounds device part there

Try to update the QuickGPS via ya home wifi, these will allow the GPS to lock faster.

how to update the quickgps?

just turn on wifi and press update. u can also update through gprs

where can i find the quickGPS icon? setting?

is inside the programs ler bro.. Start -> programs ...

anybody manage to get the condom for this device?..

I would like to know how much you got Touch 3G from PC Fair and any free gift? Very regret I never go PC fair and buy, don't know still will provide good rates and free gifts or not..
