QUOTE(itikstudio @ Dec 7 2008, 02:52 AM) I'm currently in terengganu...holiday...but im working in malacca So is there any other way to sort this out by using windows? i'm not too good with the windows side, but from what i have heard quickpwn will do the job as well. but if it backfires, your iphone will go into a "loop" (needs confirmation)

no differences i reckon. the only problem so far is the newer usb jacks which prevent the entry of DFU.

windows will also do the same trick, but IMHO is a little risky.
but i haven't encountered any funky mishaps so far...

QUOTE(bryanyeo @ Dec 18 2008, 11:27 PM) usually (please do not quote me), the units available on the shelves now on the states ought to be 2.2 however, it wouldn't harm to check with the o2 consultants. from my experience there, they are pretty helpful as compared to their counterparts.

QUOTE(beavis68 @ Dec 27 2008, 12:54 PM) after restore thru itune....it will go back to original setting... and have to perform d jailbreaking process again.... about finding any trace on jailbreaking....is very subjective lor.....u can just restore n pretend u didn't jailbreak before u send for warranty . yes. apple can easily detect whether an iphone has been JB before or not. it is entirely up to their discretion to be honest.

QUOTE(j45on @ Feb 9 2009, 07:28 PM) I restore back the contacts into the phone but incoming calls start with +01X XXXXXXX does not recognise the stored contacts in my phone as 01X XXXXXXX unless i change the contacts in my phone to +01X XXXXXXX. How to resolve this issue? if your iphone has not been jailbroken, replacing your contacts to +01X XXXXXXX, is the your only solution
