Question:

1) Is it possible to unjailbreak after jailbreaking the iphone 3G?

2) After I jailbreak my iphone 3G officially unlock version, can I sync back all my data like calendar, contacts, music, video etc to the iphone in Itunes?

When you mentioned "unjailbreak" .. Do u mean "unlock"?
If unlock, you need to install "yellowsn0w"

When jailbreaking, do I have to install Cydia/Installer or do I have to Install both?

Cydia is much better but having Installer also does no harm. You never know that you might want both of them one day.

I got a question..I'm using an optus iPhone 3g which I just bought recently in Melbourne..I updated my fw to 2.2 already.. Can I unlock my phone when I'm back in Malaysia?I will b back this sat so I won't ask optus to unlock for me

I already jailbreak but my phone no signal ohh.. Before Jailbreak got signal and working good. Now it show No Service. How come ar?

finally running on jailbroken 2.2!

ran into some problems but now i guess its good after 2nd attempt of upgrading and jailbreak.

after the first 'success', my phone was working well for like 2 hours, then the 'phone' section died on me. after pressing phone, i couldn't access anything in it (contacts, calls, keypad etc). it'll jump right back to the springboard.

although the problem seem to be solved now after the 2nd attempt, any sifus would mind explaining why that happened the 1st time?

The iPhone will not be available via "My Computer" or on your desktop. There are softwares available to access your iPhone.

iPhone Mac/Windows File Manager:
Windows - WinSCP, iFunBox, iPhone Tunnel Suite, iPhonebrowser
Mac - Cyberduck, DiskAid, Fugu
